CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice Westgate — Restaurant in Ann Arbor

Honestly I’m shocked at how bad the experience was. Staff was chatting amongst themselves, did not say hi, or even look at me. I’d never been there before and didn’t realize you placed the order on an iPad yourself and have no human interaction. I ordered a small milk tea, adding tapioca pearls. They handed me a tea without boba, so I asked if they could put boba in it, as I had ordered it. They said I had to pay an extra $.60 even though that was part of what I had paid. They added the pearls and I went on my way. Either the straw was too narrow or the boba too large and sticky. I tried to drink it and the boba was totally stuck in the straw. I tried to fix it and it ended up spilling all over me and my car. I couldn’t even drink the tea due to the boba being stuck in the straw. I went in and asked for a refund. The girls working said they couldn’t refund it because some of it was missing. I told them yes, some was missing but it was on me and my car. They called the manager to approve a refund (? you need approval to refund $6 to someone who isn’t drinking what they purchased?). Finally they refund my money and I go on my way. I understand there is a worker shortage but you should definitely train your staff to say a simple Hi to a customer that walks in, instead of chatting amongst themselves and not even looking at a customer. Love that they opened a store in the Westgate shopping plaza! Great location...few store fronts over from the awesome Ann Arbor library.

Quick and friendly service. Since they just opened very recently, they may not have all the ingredients like their other store on Plymouth road yet.

Ordered the passion fruit mango slush with coconut jellies today...yum!!! Definitely will be here on almost a weekly basis!

I love it here. I come here all the time. The staff is great, they are very kind, and they prepare the drinks very quickly. The overall vibe is cozy and chill. There is comfortable seating, the whole place is super clean, and the bubble tea is super good. I totally reccomend the coco cakes. They are really good.
