One star, but not for the reasons you might think.
I recently moved to the area and have stopped at this Maccas multiple times. Each time I went, my order was correct and food was fine, but the wait was unreal.
A visit to the drive-thru during dinner took nearly 45min from start to finish.
A recent visit during breakfast (3 cars ahead of me total) took nearly 20min to fulfill two McGriddle combos.
Each time I've visited, I've seen what appears to be half of a skeleton crew, completely overwhelmed and overworked.
The owner's have felt it prudent to post the attached signs at this location, both explaining the reasons behind the slowness, and seeking new workers.
Now, we've gotten used to seeing these signs around but what's interesting here is that the owners say UP TO $15/hr, which would suggest they're not entirely interested in finding workers because the businesses surrounding them are mostly paying this or more for their unfilled roles.
Additionally, their email address for feedback isn't a custom domain for Patrick, Inc, but rather a standard issue Gmail account. How cheap can you be as a small business owner to not have a customized domain for your company? I'll tell you...$6/month per user for a business starter account on Gmail.
Lastly, a quick Google search shows that it costs at a minimum, 500k-2.5mil to open a single McDonald's franchise.
What does this tell us? The owner of this franchise is so greedy that they can't even spring for a custom domain or pay their workers a respectable wage.
You shouldn't eat here, not because of the workers, but because this franchise owner is greedy.
Workers of this franchise, pull up any job search site and check the openings at every business around you. They are paying more than...
Read moreI give my review on many places, but out of the many places this unfortunately is my second bad review. The staff at this location is nice and professional at all times...but the manager Angela has a very nasty attitude. The first rude encounter I had with her I brushed it off thinking she was having a bad day. The first time my son was new at Doordashing and was not sure on how to go about picking up a customer's meal. Went through the drive thru and said " I'm with Door dash this is my first time how does it work? When we got to the window Angela gave us an attitude didn't want to serve us and told us we have to go back on the drive thru line. I refuse seen that I was already at the window. You would think it would be easier to give hers and my customer food and let me go, she had the line held up for a minute it wasn't until she saw that I wasn't moving and her line being backed up she complied. The second encounter with Angela was my son went there for his own personal pleasure. He was the last customer at this location that night, rushing to close my son notice he didn't have his credit card returned from the cashier. So we blew the horn to information the cashier that my sun card was not returned but we was ignored. After blowing for a while Angela comes to the window and yells at me we're closed! I replied I need the credit card back please. I shouldn't have to ask back for the credit card that she be automatic to hand it back which she did without apologizing. Third time Angela was rude when my son was picking up another Door dash order finally I had it with Angela and had to address her rude...
Read morePulled up several hours before they closed behind another car. All lights were off outside, on the signs, and in the lobby. Yet the app said they were open. Well the other car gave up and left, but I waited at the drive thru until someone spoke up. In a case where there were several employees inside, apparently they were actually hiding. They were trying to make sure no one came to the drive thru by doing everything they could to appear closed, including not having an open sign on.
Well when the woman did respond I asked her why they had all the lights off, and asked her to light up the menu so I could read it. She said she would, and then swore into the microphone at me and told me she just couldn't do it. (Understand that when I pulled up to the window the manager that has worked there for at least a year and a half was standing right next to her, so the manager doesn't know how to turn on the lights?)
Well it definitely went downhill from there. I asked why the store couldn't turn on the lights for me and the customers behind me at 8:30 at night and she just started flipping out. She grabbed a card for applying on the website and told me that if I knew so much maybe I should run the place. Then slammed the window on me. During her tantrum I asked for the receipt so that I could file a complaint, so she yelled out her name and told me how to spell it. Say hi to Angela for me, if she wasn't just fired for using obcenity and screaming...
