My daughter and I went to Sharetea today and it was the worst customer service I've experienced in a while!! First of all, everyone behind the counter was unfriendly upon entering the store. They just kinda stared at us and said nothing. That was fine, I can forgive that. But what I will not tolerate is rudeness. I ordered via the kiosk, and that went perfectly fine. After waiting for about 20 minutes or so, I got a text message saying my order was ready. So I walked up to the counter but was rudely told by Devya (I'm sure I got her name wrong, but I know her name starts with letter D. Also, she was young and either of Indian or Pakistani descent) that my order WAS NOT ready, which puzzled me because the text message said otherwise. She told me that even though it said the order was ready, it really wasn't, and that they were still working on it. Once again, I let her rudeness slide and just went back to my seat. However, her rudeness did not end there. Another Asian family approached the counter because they probably received the same text message saying their order was ready. This time, she was EVEN MORE RUDE and yelled at them, enough for everyone to hear, that their order was not ready. One of the daughters who was a teenager had this shocked and embarrassed look on her face, poor thing! That I could not let slide. I then heard her say, "What was I suppose to say?" to one of her co-workers who probably warned her about her awful attitude. When she finally called my name, I got my order and I asked her for her name. She just looked at me and hesitated to give me her name. While I was sitting down trying to enjoy my drink with my daughter, I could hear the whole staff just snickering and laughing, probably making fun of me, which didn't bother me because I was more mad at how she treated that family. This is UNACCEPTABLE behavior!! I don't care how young you are, or how bad your day is going, you cannot yell at customers like that! Even worse, she knew she was wrong, but did not bother to apologize, or show any remorse for her horrible attitude. This young lady and the rest of the crew do not deserve to work in any customer service- oriented jobs. Your products are good (I enjoyed the teas), but your employees are giving your business a really bad rep. You, the owner/manager, need to fix this before...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to Sharetea Ann Arbor, I opted for two of their classic offerings – the Pearl Black Milk Tea and the Oolong Tea, both tailored to my preference.
The Classic Pearl Black Milk Tea was ordered with no sugar and less ice, but with an extra helping of pearls. This customization allowed the robust flavor of the tea to shine through, complemented by the chewy texture of the abundant pearls. The decision to go sugarless paid off, offering a refreshing, guilt-free experience.
Equally satisfying was the Classic Oolong Tea, chosen with no sugar, and pearls added. The natural, slightly smoky taste of the oolong was pronounced, and the pearls added a playful contrast both in texture and taste.
A big draw for Sharetea is undoubtedly its location. Nestled at the intersection of Liberty St. and State St., it stands in the heart of the University of Michigan’s vibrant campus area. This convenient spot makes it an easy stop for students and visitors alike.
The service at Sharetea matched the quality of their beverages – speedy and satisfactory. Even with the customizations, there was hardly any wait, and the staff were adept at handling the lunchtime rush without compromising on the quality of the product served.
In conclusion, Sharetea Ann Arbor upholds the brand's reputation for quality bubble tea, with the added benefit of a prime location and...
Read moreWhen they first opened my experiences have always been outstanding, but when I visited recently (twice within three months, most recent being last Sat), seems like the quality of drink as well as customer service has went downhill... My wife always ordered 30% sugar level (kiwi fruit tea with aiyu jelly) and it was still sweet, when I tried my 50% sugar level it was VERY sweet, I cannot imagine what the drink would taste like even at 80% sugar (let alone 100%!). When I picked up my (3) drinks, the associate at the kiosk did not offer a cup holder or a bag. My wife wanted a bag since we have other bags plus kids, I went back to the kiosk and the same associate was doing some task, I stood there patiently and thinking that she would approach me after she's done, but NOPE, she just turned around and minding her own business. I almost wanted to grab a bag myself but didn't want to be rude (needless to say, I left without a bag). Anyhow, I felt like the associate should at least acknowledge me while finishing up the task, and not ignoring the customers completely. The same associate also seemed very bothered when I asked her some questions couple months ago when...
