I am in an interfaith marriage. My wife was raised in a Jewish tradition. My daughter attended religious school at Temple Beth Emeth where she also had her bat mitzvah some 15 years ago. Bob Livingston, the senior minister at that time even attended the first part of her bat mitzvah. My wife and daughter who are not members were also extended an invitation to volunteer during a one-week mission trip to help rebuild homes in Cameron Parish Louisiana which was devastated by Hurricane Rita in 2005 which was a very memorable experience for our family. The ministers at FCC have not only affirmed but have fully supported and welcomed our interfaith family ever since I became a member 32 years ago. Please stop in and feel it...

It looks like you are living during the time of Jesus....such a magical place, bound to inspire the imagination of each child who enters as to what it might have been like during the life of Jesus! At the beginning of the church service, children are invited to join one of the ministers during "Children's Circle" at the front of the church. It is a great church to help your child gain a religious foundation, which will serve him/her for years to come. Helping others and having a "giving" heart are important lessons learned here...a special...
