I was excited to try this bakery since the reviews were so great, however I was disappointed in the shop itself and the taste of items. First off, I couldn’t find the bakery, it is hidden down a sidewalk off a parking lot. Then we walked in and noticed an odd smell, not a good smell that would come out of a bakery. I wasn’t the only one to notice the smell as my kids mentioned it immediately upon entering. It is very tiny inside and only has a little glass case with varied wrapped baked goods and hand written tags. Honestly it was a bit chaotic to look at and read all the little tiny labels, nothing looked recognizable as something I wanted to try. Most tags read vegan, so I asked if there was anything non-vegan and I think the lady thought I wanted only vegan, but I didn’t want vegan. There was a bit of confusion between her and I when I asked what exactly wasn’t vegan so I could choose. I ended up with chocolate chip cookies and they were frozen. When they thawed we tried them, and they were odd to say the least. Tasted like a ginger snap with chocolate chunks in it. It crumbled like sand and literally had the consistency of kinetic sand. It was very weird. I didn’t try the cake which it seems this bakery specializes in and I suppose if you are vegan, this would be a solid option for treats, but for meat/dairy eating folks, stick to the mainstream bakeries. I would also note it was pretty expensive, $3 per cookie and it was pretty small, I would think 4 for $10 would make more sense.

Omg what can I say! I didn’t know what to expect when I found this place but I wanted to do something different this year for my son’s birthday. Instead of going to my normal bakery I usually go to who specialize in decorative cakes, I didn’t want all those unhealthy ingredients like artificial dyes and sugars. I found Tasty Bakery doing a google search and took a shot with the dart. Let me tell you…. When I first ate my son’s cake it was a 8/10 because my taste buds had to get use to the taste! After four days now I am urging for more lol! Now I would give them a 10/10! Def will be back! Thank you all for doing a good job on my son’s fourth birthday cake I appreciate you

Last year I ordered a birthday cake (strawberry cake with strawberry frosting) from Julie of Tasty Bakery here for a friend with Celiac's and a dairy allergy. It was so good I would recommend getting all birthday cakes here forever regardless of anybody's dietary restrictions. It was *so* strawberry-y. The cake also *looked* gorgeous, see image (we added the candles and unicorn thing ourselves). We actually made requests about the styling of the cake based on what we saw on the website and Julie was so accommodating and just a sweet person. So yeah, I'm about to order this exact same cake again.

First and foremost: if you're a "regular" eater with no dietary restrictions, don't be put off by the fact that this is a gluten free bakery. No matter how you eat, this place is phenomenal, and the quality of the goodies is right up there with the best traditionally prepared stuff. There's no "it's pretty good for being gluten free;" it's just good, period.

I tried the chocolate cupcake and the chocolate tart. Both were excellent. The cupcake appealed to the kid in me, while the tart had the refined elegance of a more sophisticated "grown-up treat," if you will. My wife got the lemon cookie (I want to say it was called a lemon cloud?), and while I didn't sample that, she assured me it was amazing as well.

Again, everything is gluten free, and a lot of things (if I had to guess, around half the stuff) is vegan too. The lady who helped us was sure to ask right away about our dietary restrictions. Although neither of us do, it was still cool that she did that. When we mentioned that we were from out of town and out for a romantic evening, she took it upon herself to give us restaurant recommendations, which was helpful and appreciated.

Overall, I'm glad we stopped here. I'm not sure if the lady who helped us was the owner, but whoever it was, was kind, helpful, and thorough. And the food? Simply divine, whether you're gluten free or not. I can't recommend this...

The BEST brownies!! I have a relatively newly diagnosed allergy to corn, corn derivatives, and gluten. I’ve been trying for over a year to source ingredients to bake at home without making myself sick. Tasty Bakery has cut out that frustration, and I can enjoy their baked goods with zero hesitation. Even if I didn’t have allergies to foods, I would still say their brownies are hands down the best ever! I’ve tried a few other baked goods and they have all been delicious. I got a chocolate cake for my birthday and it was fabulous. Excellent job guys. I know you have made my life of food allergies much more tolerable.

The baked goods are not cheap, nor should they be. They use quality ingredients and have perfected their recipes. I guarantee you will not be...
