Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Ann Arbor

Waited extremely long for my order. When I finally received 1 item off my order a smoothie, acai berry boost, it was a pale in color upon taking my first sip it was absolutely flavorless. I kept moving my straw to find flavor there was none. My smoothie was full of blended ice. As I continued to wait for my food items I went to the register to see if I could get some assistance with my flavorless and ingredientsless smoothie. Person at register and which was the person who made my drink said they would remake the smoothie, I felt like the smoothie are quite expensive and I just couldn't continue to sip on crushed ice. I was not trying to give anyone a hard time. They did seem extremely busy so I remained patient. Finally after about an half hour my food was ready and I asked where my remade smoothie was. They asked the initial person making smoothies where my smoothie was and she said I've be making hundreds of drinks and I have to finish these other orders so then I asked for a refund, luckily one of the other staff members stepped in to help make it for me and apologized for the unprofessional behavior and smoothie was made perfectly. I know the original staff member that made my smoothie seemed stressed and in a hurry to crank out smoothies but it effected the quality of my smoothie I was not trying to make them feel bad and am sorry if I caused them any...

I was traveling through Michigan and needed to stop and grab a smoothie and stumbled by this place on accident. We decided to try it out. This is such a cute spot with delicious smoothies!! Everyone was kind and their service was quick! Very clean place too! I had the Hurricane smoothie and it was so tropical and really hit the spot! On the road I had wished I ordered another one HA! My friend said his smoothie and salad were great.

I had been searching for my wallet and ended up leaving it at this place. Ashley and Jordan assisted me so kindly with their help locating my wallet and I want to specifically thank them!! Kindness really matters and can make someones day. I really appreciate them and other employees who go out of their way to help others! :)

4/2/21- Went instore and ordered. After 20 mins I see people who came later than me getting their smoothies. On inquiry, I am told they don't know why my order was not fulfilled and said they will make it immediately. After 10 more mins, on inquiry they couldn't find my smoothie. I was told they will make it now. That's when i asked for the supervisor. She said sorry, and that she was in the back of the store and doesn't know what happened. Even after explaining to her what occurred, her response was same. I then cancelled the order and asked for refund, and then was being offered a 20% discount coupon!!! On the way out, the person who told me twice she is making the smoothie "now" tells me "Have a nice day"!!!!!!!!!!!! Very bad customer experience and felt...
