The experience I had at Nordstrom rack the other day seriously restored my faith in humanity. I was coming in looking for something specific and mind you I absolutely do not enjoy shopping, being the indecisive person I am, I knew I was going to need some help. I also donāt typically leave reviews either but this one experience was seriously just the best Iāve received in a very long time. I came across this beautiful, charming, caring soul. Her name is Yolanda. Ms. Yolanda went absolutely above and beyond to satisfy my needs in every way. She took the time to really understand what it was I was looking for and most importantly what I felt most comfortable in. She showed me so many different options as well as pairing these options into complete outfits. I mean absolutely incredible. Coming in I was just expecting to get in and get out but when I came across Yolanda she actually made me want to shop and take the time to see what fits me best. She brought a couple options to the dressing room and uplifted my confidence as well as gave me advice of a lifetime. She has such a wonderful spirit and you can see it all in her demeanor. She really cares to help those around her to make sure they feel comfortable and satisfied with their visit. I will never forget this experience, I am so grateful to have come across this wonderful soul. Next time you go into Nordstromās rack be sure to ask for Yolanda! You will not be disappointed one bit. Ā Ā Ā Read moreTHIS IS THE MOST TRIFLING EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD AT ANY STORE. I came in today around 3pm to purchase gift cards for my family. I recently had a really good month at work. I wanted to purchase 5 $500 gift cards. They said the limit was $1000. Fine. Mind you I went to the location in novi and they gave me the other $1500ā¦but ok. So anyways the cashier said security had to watch me on the cameras due it being a large transaction. But had I came in to buy $1000 worth of items, would it be the same thing? My card used to purchase matches my ID which they didnāt ask for they just automatically called security. Mind you Iām a young black girl so maybe itās hard to believe I have 4 figures to spend on leisure. Fine. I purchase the gift cards. 2 for $500 each. I go to check the balance when I got home and it says the cards werenāt found. But the other 3 I purchased elsewhere worked. I check my bank account and the money has been taken out When I called, the closing manager asked me for a receipt number, said it starts with a letter R and itās below the barcode. Thereās no receipt number starting with a R below my barcode (see picture) I offered to FaceTime her so she could show me. She said āshe doesnāt have timeā she rushed me off the phone because they were āabout to closeā . Okay. I call customer service they say my cards have been flagged as fraud. They were unwelcoming and unhelpful from the start and now Iām out of $1000 when I did nothing wrong. Nordstrom took my money, and my gift cards wonāt work. Iām beyond appalled...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly one of the most embarrassing and insulting moments of my life. I noticed a pair of shoes that I was eyeing for a few months. They were actually in the in the size 8 section even though they are a-size 6. I grabbed the right pair to try on and noticed they were on sale. What a great deal. Not until I got to the registrar Theo the sale associate says this isnāt the right sticker and I canāt sell you them. He then wanted to put the shoes on the counter behind him without asking me if I wanted to still purchase them. Then Keicia D store manager came he told her that it was the wrong sticker and she said oh and walked away. I did speak up because I know that the store needs to honor that price and not make a person whoās been shopping at Nordstrom since the day they opened in Michigan to feel and look like a thief. Honestly I never felt so humiliated in my life. My husband did end up buying both pairs to defuse the situation. That ended up ruining our shopping trip with my family. I ended up driving back there to return the items. I would rather buy them on line at regular price from another store then to step one foot back into Nordstrom ever again.
