Arborland Center — Local services in Ann Arbor

In a word, traffic, parking, accessibility. The shops by the road-foodservice primarily--have it the worst for parking...cramped space and flaring tempers, dangerous swoops to snatch parking...

Busy with families and middle middle class types most afternoons. There isn't really outdoor space, nowhere for kids to run around associated with the dining and people keep to themselves.

The Kroger--formerly a Hillers with lots of unique inventory and a cool vibe--is steadily becoming more ho-hum as the inventory is standardized. It is a union shop if that is important to you. Shopper flow and checkout are very fast there and it's a great place to pick up one or two missing ingredients. Produce section is better than the Carpenter rd supermarkets, but nothing special.

The office max and toys r us are both fairly underwhelming as outlets of their respective chains. Print shop is well staffed at friendly at officemax.

The Starbucks, notwithstanding parking, is a standout. Reserve coffee, open late, clover machine, well trained staff, fast service, very lively and diverse crowd of all colors mixes here. Not so much a macbook farm as a meeting place.

It's hard to avoid Arborland if you live here, and its impact on nearby traffic is downright irritating, new civic engineering is in order. But in the meantime, drive--and park safe and welcome...

Arborland, just isn't like it use to be, when so many good stores closed. For me, with our economy, the prices are too high and the product is not worth the price. I do like Famous Footwear, and I hope they start carrying my shoes again. I hope going to the store doesn't become like ghost town. Arborland is still standing but I hope they start moving upward. I use to go to Michael's Arts and crafts store. It's like being in a candy store but still the prices are not meeting my budget. You can still buy from different stores but for me, I knew what it use to be, but now, I just try to find what I need elsewhere. Arborland use to be exciting and fun but yet, in today's world we all must make the right choices. If you have children, there is the Five dollar store. I have just been by it. This store is new to me. I saw children coming out with bags and smiles. I would like to see Arborland flourish with more stores and lower prices and availability of...

LOVED IT!!!!!!Old navy was so fun and i got quality clothing from there while being stylish!Then we went to five below and got all their squishes,So you should definetly got there for squsihes.[five dollars only per squish]Then they have an amazing coldstone there qith the friendliest workers,and they also have a great starbucks there that serves amazing lemonade-tea grandes and all of your favorites.We stopped at a five guys which was grear,but it was pretty loud in there,and the floor was super wet.The ketcchup machine also wasnt working.Now is the fun part,Ice cream.Quality dairy AND non dairy sorbet.I got dark chocalate ice cream,a small and i recoomend it.I also recommsnt the cake batter and lemonade rasberry sorbet(Non dairy!!!!!!)?over all i had a great experience and im sure...
