This is a local establishment run by a friendly bunch of Thai ladies, so you know the food is authentic. Even the donuts, which are the highlight on the menu. And since they open at 0530 in the morning, they also have a good selection of traditional American breakfast fare. Don't let the disposable dinnerware put you off, everything from the kitchen is very good.
For the donuts, I'd give this place 4 stars. They don't have the widest variety, but everything available is fresh and delicious. The donuts rival Shoppers' giant donuts in size, and any toppings or fillings are applied in generous amounts. You definitely need to arrive early, they sell out quick! The Thai food is pretty good and authentic too, but the portion sizes are quite small. That's why I only give them 3 stars.
Service is quick and pleasant. The dining area is clean enough. Their business is mostly take-out, but there are a few tables available for seating in the small dining room. Overall a solid local business, and worth checking out if you are...
Read moreReview for donuts only: If you're from the West Coast and have been wishing you had a traditional donut that is not Dunkin (don't bash me-I'm not a hater), then this is your place! They carry those fluffy/airy donuts you've been craving (i.e., maple bars, glazed whole & holes), a variety of cake donuts and they even have glazed cronuts--which I might add are a bit expensive, but absolutely amazing! And like West Coast donut shops, they only make them once a day and run out pretty quickly, so if you want a variety then get there early! I just recently found them and haven't had a chance to try their Thai food, but I've seen that they have positive reviews on that other review site (aka Yelp). I think they accept credit cards, but prefer cash for the donuts (especially if you're just buying one or two) so I would recommend taking...
Read moreOpinion can't be ivocal. Donuts are really the best I've ever tasted. But Thai Kitchen... I had lunch with my friend there. We ordered some soup, rice and shrimps. OMG... soup tastes like garlic juice (unknown smell) and there is nothing else except this reek liquid . Rice was too oily and bad favored (like it was cooked on the dirty fried pan) . And what about shrimps? Hahah... we saw probably just 4-5 small sized ones and ...that's it. By the way, all plates and ware are made of the cheapest plastic. When you eat hot soup with a such spoon , you can feel an amazing odds of recyclable stuff 😂
My high advice for you, carry out those luxurious donuts and run away as soon as you can!!! ( Because in a few minutes your hair and clothes start smell like smoky kitchen during busy...
