My worst experience at a Dunkin and with costumer service in general. I was with a few of my friends and we were laughing at something unrelated to our order at all but after saying hello to the man through the machine, he snapped at us, “whats so funny”, which created awkwardness and made us laugh. We had five drink orders and were trying to communicate that to him when he said, “one person at a time, we’re waiting for you”. We then asked him to repeat our order back because it seemed like he was a bit confused. He did but repeated it incorrectly. We then pulled up to the window and he didn’t say anything and was very passive. He gave us the receipt and we checked it over before he handed us our drinks, which he maybe didn’t like. But it seemed to have a few things wrong on the receipt. So we asked him to tell us which drink he was handing us because they were poorly labeled as well. Then two other workers came up to the window and were staring at us, just watching us as we took our drinks. He then seemed annoyed and said “That’s it!” while shaking his hands, clearly frustrated. Overall, this man had no reason to be so rude and passive toward us, we were polite from the start. And then to bring in two other workers to watch us take our order as well!? I will not be going here again, not to mention the fact that our drinks were wrong in the end and some of the worst coffee we had ever had. We are regular Dunkin customers and this was our worst...
Read moreI work in Annapolis, as a matter of fact I work around the corner from this DD, and I will never patronize this place again. Over the passed few months my coworker and I have been stopping in this DD for breakfast, but based on the quality of (or lack there of) the service we've received, we've decided to never go there again. It seemed like every time we'd return to work, we were always complaining about either the food or service or both. And today (10/31/13) was the final straw. Here's what happened: We go up to the counter to order. There are 3 employees at the register, and with today being Halloween, one of the employees was wearing fangs and horns. So my coworker and I place our orders, at which time two of the employees start arguing over who is going to make my coworker's sandwich, with one of the employees stating that no one showed him how to make this particular sandwich. Then two of the employees started arguing over the meaning of Halloween, with one saying she doesn't celebrate evil or worship the devil, and the other trying to explain to her that it's not a pagan holiday. So we have to hear all of this bickering while waiting for our food, and we couldn't wait to get (the Hell) out of there. Anyway, true to form, we get back to work, and my coworker realizes that they forgot to give him his hash browns, and my cup of hot cocoa tasted like chocolate flavored dishwater (yuck). Needless to say, we're done...
Read moreI didn't go here for 3 years because of a very rude and condescending older male who gave me stale doughnuts and screamed at me and refused a refund when I said they were hard as a rock and knocked one against the car door to show him. A few months ago I decided to try them again. Bad idea. This is my story.
I put up with flirting and weirdly intrusive questions from older male workers at this drive through on four occasions. But, service was fast and it's convenient. Last time, at 2:50 p.m. on a Wednesday, the drive thru guy ignored me and I drove to the window. He saw me at the window and ignored me. I continued to wait and he finally came over and yelled "WHAT DO YOU WANT!" Extremely rude service from someone who hates his job. I told him I no longer wanted anything from that particular business. Even people who own other Dunkin's know how terrible some of these male workers here are to females. Simply awful. Never again....
