Came here for a Saturday evening dinner with my husband. My favorite part about this place is that it is away from all the other restaurants and has its own parking. Has a small bar. Greeted warmly and seated right away. Private party upstairs and about half the tables filled when we sat down, yet not as loud as a lot of others have stated in their reviews. Very friendly and attentive waiter but could do better with his personal appearance. Menu had food stains. Food wise, it was a refreshing change from the typical Annapolis fare. Dolmas and spanakopita were good. Lamb shank was a bit dry but flavor good. My husband said his seafood platter was good, not great. Presentation of the food could vastly improve (see pics). I would eat here again to try the other Greek dishes. It was not as impressive as I've heard personally from friends, but maybe our general dining experiences differ.

I did a take out and the lady who took my order was friendly and professional. I ordered a salmon with rice, vegetables and salad. The presentation was nice but the food was nothing to write home about. The salmon was overcooked with no seasoning just bland. OMG I didn’t even taste salt or pepper tasted like nursing home food. No flavor whatsoever, the rice was bland no seasoning on that either. The salad dressing was decent and that’s was it. The broccoli was alright again no seasoning so it was truly a bland azz dinner. With due respect I should’ve known when I walked in and it looking like a senior center. Sorry but not sorry..

I've driven past here so many times and finally stopped in for lunch to check it out. The space is so cozy and bigger than you'd think from the street front. Parking is very cramped so look for a spot in the back if you need room to pull out. We ordered the lemony soup, fish and chips on special and gyro. The soup was delicious - homey like chicken noodle but with that fresh lemon punch. Fish was super hot and crisp. Gyro meat was so flavorful and juicy. Tzatziki sauce was bomb. Definitely coming back again soon!

What a disappointment. We took a friend that was visiting for lunch on Monday and wished we hadn't bothered. We knew we were in for a tedious time the minute we sat down and had to wait to order drinks, followed by another wait to order food. Two drinks appeared eventually but mine didn't. We ordered appetisers but before we could order mains, our server just walked off. Eventually my drink appeared and we were able to order our mains. Starters took forever to arrive and were pretty bland and after a few complaints two of our mains finally arrived. Two plates of souvlaki where the chicken was dry and as tough as old boots and the vegetables obviously grilled and refrigerated for days. No way this was made today. After more complaints the missing Moussaka finally showed up but was inedible. Again, there was no way this was prepared today. Our server said the kitchen was a nightmare but i saw several plates of food stacked up that had been sitting there for 15-20 minutes. How funny to discover some of that was our food that I had been watching under heat lamps for nearly half an hour. At least they were decent enough to remove the moussaka off the bill when we complained. Again, what a woeful disappointing event. Definitely won't be...

Paul's Homewood Cafe never fails to please! Four us us enjoyed a perfect lunch today... The restaurant was very busy but our waitress was most attentive and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Two had the grilled salmon filets over salad special and they were cooked to perfection and beautifully served over a very generous salad. Not one morsel was left on their plates! Another friend enjoyed their Greek Pastichion and I had one of the specials of the day, their ground beef quesadillas served with sour cream, chopped tomato salsa, and guacamole. They were delicious. No room for dessert but the "birthday" serving of their Greek baklava was quickly devoured by two of us and most appreciated by the birthday girl! A lovely touch from Paul's to be sure. Do not hesitate to try Paul's... It's s lovely gem and provides a delightful and delicious respite from a busy workday or a busy weekend...and conveniently located on West Street with plenty of parking in the back. Another perfect...

Really should be no stars.

I have been here before and enjoyed my meals but this visit speechless.

I would lay money on no Gin in my cocktail! The appetizers were ok but not fantastic. The bread was slightly stale and Pate about two weeks old, but Oysters good and fresh. Spanakopita cold and flavorless.

The mains were absolutely shocking. First the duck. When I say over cooked, it was like rubber, chewy and non edible let alone the sloppy over cooked vegetables.

Meal number two, Grouper special. Over cooked veg and smothered in sauce with boxed rice and cold beans.

Moussaka was last weeks leftovers.

Sadly we left all three meals barely touched and asked for the bill. It was too bad to even bring up our concerns.

Embarrassed for the server who was lovely and had to serve this terrible meal.

I did not want any money returned. I just hope they improve, the owner kindly gave us $4 off our check after passing it to us without saying a word!

I would try a different restaurant...
