Compassion Coffee brought a delightful touch of warmth and community spirit to our elementary school's recent Fun Run. The charming setup seamlessly blended with the lively atmosphere, enticing spectators to freshly brewed coffee. Their diverse menu offered something for everyone, from hot lattes and cappuccinos to iced coffees and italian sodas. Oatmilk was even offered at no additional charge, appeasing many in the crowd. The quality and consistency of their beverages were truly impressive, despite preparing the drinks outdoors, on a very chilly day, truly showcasing the baristas' skill and dedication.
One standout feature of Compassion Coffee was its exceptional drinks, each prepared with a level of dedication and skill that left participants and spectators truly delighted. The espresso-based beverages, from rich lattes to decadent mochas, were expertly crafted, consistently delivering a robust and well-balanced flavor. I was especially impressed with the lavender latte. This unique concoction combined the earthy warmth of espresso with the fragrant and soothing notes of lavender, resulting in a delightful and aromatic experience. The lavender latte was a true testament to Compassion Coffee commitment to both flavor and creativity, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to savor this extraordinary drink.
The menu was the perfect price point, the efficient and friendly service ensured that no one had to wait for long, allowing our spectators to recharge and return to the run. Compassion Coffee added a special touch to our Fun Run, turning it into an event that combined fitness with the heartwarming sense of community and a cup of delicious brew. We eagerly anticipate its return to future events!
Finally, each drink was carefully constructed in a way that reminded me of the mission of Compassion Coffee, in true efforts to serve others. I am honored to have partnered with Compassion Coffee at our fun run, to support their mission and spread awareness to the support of those experiencing homelessness in...
Read moreI saw this place on tiktok after telling my husband I wished I knew of a place that had buckets of cold brew. It's like the universe or my NSA agent was listening to my wishes and sent me the video of them showing their cute little coffee shop less than ten minutes from my house with BUCKETS OF COFFEE! so naturally on my break I ran there to try their coffee.
Incredibly clean, you could lick the floors and not get dirt on your tongue. Warm atmosphere, very cute. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming with smiles and chatty in that wonderful Midwestern way that I always love. Smelled like coffee and home. I was able to order my bucket of cold brew and a lady walked in and saw me getting my bucket and was like "YOU CAN GET A BUCKET?!" and I was like "I KNOW RIGHT?! FOR SIXTEEN DOLLARS I CAN HAVE A HEART ATTACK FROM TOO MUCH CAFFEINE! IT'S A STEAL!" to which she laughed and ordered her coffee. The patrons all seemed to be fun as well, making this place my new go to for writing my weird stuff or meet ups for friends.
The coffee itself is delicious. Smooth and rich, and I've got the jitters from my bucket, which is exactly what I needed today. I wish they had more food items, it would have been nice to have some sandwiches or more pastry items (a hot scone would have been perfect with this coffee!). They did have some pastry items but not many, and I realize they're very new so I'm sure that will come in time.
In addition to all of this, their mission is to help with homelessness in the area. What an amazing mission! I love when businesses help humanity, which gives them ten billion good people points. So good business model, good product, good atmosphere. Just good all around.
Tl:dr: reasonably priced, buckets of coffee, helps homeless people, clean, good atmosphere, could use more food...
Read moreWas my first time ordering here. I was not having a really good day and saw this place on google near my work so I decided to try it instead of going to the usual Kwik Trip. I placed my order at 9:22am and the estimated pick up time was said to be 9:37am. I waited and waited for an update and got nothing. I decided to drive there to see if my ONE CUP was ready, it was not. A Mom with 3 little kids were in front of me talking to the cashier, that was it for the line. Minutes go by and the young boy making the drinks decided to ask if I was waiting for a pick up order which I told him yes. He began making my drink as I waited longer. I walked out of there at 9:52am. It took 30 minutes to make ONE DRINK for ONE CUSTOMER. The biggest disappointment was that I had specifics picked out for my drink from the website which I ordered a Mocha, and it tasted absolutely nothing like a Mocha. It was super foamy which I don't like and it was super sweet which I asked for less sweet. At this point I don't even think my drink was made correctly since my pick up time took so long. I love trying new cafes and it's too bad this will be my first and last time here. Even Kwik Trip coffee is better and...
