Customer service was great! Place seemed chill to sit in! Food was absolutely not worth ordering out. I ordered a chicken torta and it was soooo dry! Honestly, it was dehydrated or something. I was scared that I wasn’t even eating chicken. I ended up tossing it! Besides that, there wasn’t any flavor— basically non existent. The sandwich bread was not toasted like in the pictures. Also, the French fries in the pictures were not the same. Basically, just some frozen crinkle cut fries that were barely cooked all the way through.

Disclaimer: I am not from Minnesota. I moved here in 2023. Since moving here from the DC area (I am not from there either), I have spent more money HERE on services including eating out. This never ceases to surprise me. I feel like I’m constantly giving businesses bad reviews here in Minnesota, but it’s the truth. We spend money to expect a service and most of the time it’s mediocre or downright bad. It’s gotten so bad that, honestly, I cook better than 98% of the restaurants that we’ve dined at here. Not even kidding. It’s so bad here that I didn’t even order food for my husband because I wanted to try it first. I didn’t want to waste money....

Stopped in as I was in the area and was hungry for tacos. I did a search, and this place came up with a very high rating, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm very disappointed!!! The high rating was false! The cips were overcooked, and the salsa was a weird flavor? I ordered carne asada tacos and a fish taco. The carne asada tacos were overcooked - meat tough and zero flavor. The fish was over cooked, no flavor, greasy, and mushy. We were served our pop (soda) in a can ... ok, but I prefer fountain pop. The service was fine. Waitress was friendly. But the atmosphere was drab, old, needs a good cleaning and upgrade. My biggest problem is that the restaurant was FREEZING COLD. I had to eat with my coat on and couldn't wait to get back to the car to warm up. I shouldn't have to freeze my ass off to eat. It's expensive for what you get. Won't be back, and I definitely do not...

After seeing the great reviews to a Mexican restaurant I haven't tried yet, I had to give it a go. Unfortunately I was extremely let down. I ordered the chicken burrito and it was severely lacking moisture. This was the driest burrito I've had in my 37 years. The burrito was also flavorless and bland. The only source of flavor was from the additional sauces (green and red) on the side. I only ate about 1/3 of the meal before I gave up. It honestly tasted worse than some frozen microwaved burritos I've had in the past. Some of the chicken had cartilage I had to spit out.

My wife had the chicken quesadilla and she said it was also dry with not enough cheese.

I would give this place another shot to see if their tacos are any better, but from the meals we chose today, I'm not feeling very interested...

Trying El Tacazo in Anoka, MN! Definitely pronounced it wrong in the video.. this place was so awesome! The lady running the front was the nicest person ever. Maybe the owner? Definitely coming back to support a great food and their small family business! #mnfoodie #foodreview #tacos #eatwithme #anoka
