I visited Bath and Body works in Beaver Creek this past Saturday to purchase more wallflowers and also exchange a few Wallflower plugs. As soon as I walked in I was approached by Julie (she wear glasses and hair was shoulder length). I told her I was shopping for Wallflowers and needed to exchange a few Wallflower plugs. She blatantly lied and said they don't exchange Wallflower plugs. I asked her when did they stop and she said last Fall. I knew it wasn't true because I just did an exchange a month ago. Which is why I was exchanging them because they didn't work. Good thing I had my receipt because she stuck to not exchanging them until I showed her my receipt. After I showed her the receipt she told me I couldn't exchange them because they look old. I had to pleed to her that I just brought them. Then she kept arguing with me saying they don't sell the plugs with the light and I would have to get a different one. I didn't mind I just wanted a plug that worked. After I finished shopping she made sure she checked me out to ask if I use my plug ins next to something else that's plugged in. I told her no she continued to make accusations that I was either bumping my plug in or I was letting my Wallflower burn too low. I told her that wasn't true either because the Wallflower wasn't even completed and it still had residue at the top. I felt that she was very unprofessional and unpleasant. I really don't want to believe she was racially profiling me. I use to work for Bath and Body works and we were not trained to make customers feel uncomfortable and like they are liars or...
Read moreI had a terrible experience speaking to the manager (or assistant manager) on duty 4/9/25 at 2pm. Forgot to get her name. It was regarding an online order that I couldn’t pick up but the store notified me had been picked up. When I called to let them know I hadn’t picked up the order they clearly lied and deflected and their excuse was that someone called with my name, address and order number and placed a hold on the items. Obviously this wasn’t me, yet the lady who identified herself as the manager insisted that the person had the order number and my name. At this point, it boggles my mind why it’s so difficult to understand why if a customer is telling you they didn’t call you still insist they did. I had a feeling they mistakenly got the order number wrong and didn’t verify the rest of the information. What’s even more wild is to tell me that the person said their name was also Wanjeri Prevost, I guarantee that name is one of the most unique names you will ever come across! Yet she still insisted. And argued with me on the phone in a rude and condescending way. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. And to think she is the manager of the store is absolutely shocking. I’ll definitely be calling corporate, it shouldn’t have taken a 13 minute and 5 seconds argumentative conversation to convince them to refund the order I...
Read moreI’ve always had a good experience at any Bath and Bodyworks I’ve gone to. What keeps me coming back to Bath and Bodyworks stores is the customer service, always willing to help out and being greeted. This Bath and Bodyworks in Apex must have very poor sales, since I’m sure other people felt like me when they were walking in and out,. I’m not one to give negative reviews but, I’ve never experienced walking into a bath and Bodyworks where all of the employees except one which was at the cash register, were all gathered in a circle just talking about their lives and acting like if no one was walking in and out of the store. I’d rather drive 10 minutes away to another Bath and Bodyworks, than come here again. There’s no excuse for poor customer service and...
