l need the owner’s information plz :) plus your current manager who’s Black gave me attitude & even hung up on me along with the white girl with brown hair thinking she’s god. I want to buyout this location & have them gone. IDK who they thought they were talking to. Long story short, the Black manager (didn’t get her name) was working the previous day with other staff members & was acting completely different in front of them. I’ve confirmed with one of the “nice” associates she was working alongside witg (she had long dark hair & glasses) what items they were taking I brought them. The Black manager rejected those items. So for some “odd reason” I’m just asking her questions and she gets irritated. Funny thing I didn’t know she was the manager based off her demeanor. When I kept calling the store and being hung up on whilst asking for rhe manager, I was surprised to realize it was her. She was literally acting like a child and she wouldn’t have been acting like that in front of the owner AT ALL. I’m pretty sure had the owner been aware that this is how you talk to people, they would have never hired you. The other white girl with long dark hair even got involved without minding her own business acting like she was her guard dog or something was being rude as well & even said “ma’am you’re calling up here harrassing “ when I was trying to speak to whomever was in charge bc the Black manager was being THAT UNPROFESSIONAL THAT I DIDNT THUNK IT WOULD BE HER. I’ve never had ANY ISSUES whatsoever with any other associates even at the other location. I even told the Raleigh location about my experience and even they were disgusted & took the items. SMH YALL chose this job- it didn’t choose you. If you can’t have simple customer service etiquette then FIND ANOTHER JOB. It’s not that hard. Nobody & I do mean NOBODY ASKED YOU TO WORK THERE. Not that I want to bring race in te mix, but I’ve literally had 2 supervisors that were Black get fired for exactly how she was acting & they both eveb turned on the higher up boss for letting them go. Those “girls” wanted me to stoop down to their pathetic level so bad so that they can play the victim & honestly that’s just disgusting & ultimately I feel like they don’t care about making the owner look bad because I already seen the negative reviews at this location. They do not care about the image of the owner; they only care ahout the money. They definitely have this dark insidious vibe to them. I know I’ve said a lot, but I wanted to tell my side of the story because I can’t trust females like that- they’re the type to backdoor you & not even care about the owner’s reputation but use them as leverage while manipulating them if...
Read moreNot only did they steal my LULULEMON clothing items, but now are REFUSING to follow through on their promise of "compensation."
Back in May, YES MAY, of 2022, I took clothes to them to sell as I have in the past. In my bin, there were a couple of Lululemon pieces that I did not mean to bring. At the end of the selling process, they show you what they would like to take. I saw the two pieces sitting at the top and immediately told them that was an accident, and I wanted to keep them-- not sell them. The girl at the register understood and said she would place them back in my bin for me to take home later (since I was still shopping in the store). However, I NEVER GOT THE PIECES BACK! After emptying the bin of denied clothing a few days later, I could not find the Lululemon anywhere. I triple-checked the bin, my car, laundry, and closet. Realizing the issue, I immediately contacted Uptown Cheapskate who said they would look into the issue right away-- checking the store, donation bins, and security cameras. THIS WAS A LIE! They did not check the tapes or the store until TWO WEEKS LATER, despite my calls to follow up. Since all that time had passed, the video surveillance was "recorded over," and there was "no evidence" of the situation. My issue was directed to the owner Chelsea, where the real problem begins.
SHE IS A SCAM ARTIST!!! SHE OFFERED ME $25 COMPENSATION FOR MY $166 WORTH OF LULULEMON CLOTHES AND HAS REFUSED TO REFUND ME!!!
I told her this was outrageous compared to the cost I spent on the clothing. They were hardly worn and in perfect condition. It's not my fault they lost them and didn't check the tapes. There was evidence, and it was their fault for not pursuing it. This meant that I was LOSING ALMOST $150 BECAUSE OF THEIR MISTAKE! We finally "agreed" on half of the cost of the clothes, but she still hasn't sent me my check. IT HAS BEEN MONTHS, AND SHE IS NOW IGNORING ME! I have been nothing, but respectful and understanding about this situation. I am at my wits end, and I have filed a complaint with the BBB due to their SCAMMING behavior.
BE CAUTIOUS WITH WHAT YOU SELL BECAUSE THEY WILL TAKE IT, REFUSE TO COMPENSATE, AND THEN IGNORE...
Read moreToday was my first day at this location and will most likely be my last unless there is a change. It is 95 degrees outside today 6/19, when I walked in that store it was 84 degrees. I thought maybe the AC was broken or something was wrong because there was no air movement for the 45 minutes I was in the store. I had planned on staying awhile and shopping, but physically could not, I was sweating so bad, and started feeling like I was going to pass out. When I went to check out the employee was very kind, they had a mask on, and was also very visibly hot. I had mentioned the issue to them, and they acted relieved that I even said anything. They then proceed to quietly tell me that the manager (who was not even present in the store) does not allow the temperature to go any lower. I was pretty surprised due to the wide range of temperatures North Carolina experiences. I then was concerned about their breathing being restricted for hours on end in a place that hot. They then tell me that the manager will get mad if they take to many mask breaks...aka if they take a break to breathe fresh air. If you are having your employees masked, it would be safe to assume that management cares about their health right? or maybe this is "Rules for thee, not for me" mentality that people in charge tend to follow. Not only are you putting your employees health at risk, but you are also losing business, due to the fact customers can not shop there for very long. I am not writing this review for me, I am writing this for those employees that are being exposed to abusive management. Who is forcing them to work in an uncomfortable work environment, while they arent even there having to deal with it themselves. The employee mentioned that maybe if a customer complains management will lower the temperature. They had wanted me to write a review and complain. If there is not a change I will go further with this complaint, such as news outlets, BBB, ect. I will not have the knowledge of knowing young employees, trying to make a living during tough times, are being treated this way and not do...
