very comfy, walked in and instantly felt at home. employees were very kind in assisting me as a young disabled person! explained to me what they offered when i had trouble seeing the menu, and were very kind when i asked for some salt packets to help with a sudden chronic illness flare (i usually bring some with me, slipped my mind this time! lol) the drink i got was great! a little more costly than other places nearby, but definitely more than worth it. a little extra money for a Lot of extra quality. tasted so good i forgot to take a pic before i drank most of it -w- i dont get coffee often nowadays, but ill definitely be coming back! especially with how disability-friendly the service was <3 it's a shame how rare it is for places to be this accessible, but that also means its a wonderful surprise to find places like this.

This wonderful place is my new coffee spot. This morning, my daughter and I went here to The Grind, and all I can say is,”WOW”!! It’s amazing!! I ordered the Oreo frappe and added ice cream, a plain bagel 🥯, and my daughter ordered a strawberry 🍓 smoothie. I took a danish to go, and while I’m writing this, the danish is so filling, and taste superb👍🏻❤️. They were the best I have ever had👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. The Oreo frappe had the perfect amount of everything in it, the bagel with cream cheese was to die for, and the danish is big. Highly recommend coming here. A cozy, quiet coffee shop to come to if you want to have the best coffee in town, a bite to eat, and to enjoy all that with your loved ones, even by yourself. Thank you to all the baristas for being amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Not a great first experience. My husband brought home bagels with cream cheese from The Grind this morning, for the very first time. There was hardly ANY cream cheese on these bagels. Very disappointing. I called and spoke with Kaley (?), who said they "normally put alot of cream cheese on each bagel". I told her, there was almost NONE on these ones. She did offer a full refund, which was appreciated; I'll be keeping my eye out for that. Thank God I had a tub of Philadelphia cream cheese in my fridge.

I have been going the Grind Coffee House for a few months. When I was there, I always sat back, enjoyed my frappes, kept to myself and bothered nobody. One day, I sat in my chair and waited for my frappe. The lady with the red curly hair walked up to me, handed me my drink, then told me in front of all the costumers that I cannot come here anymore. She said that costumers were making complaints that I made them uncomfortable. I asked her what I did to make them uncomfortable and she said that I was moving funny, talking funny and looking at them funny. I explained to her that I have Tourette syndrome. It’s a neurological disability that causes me to make these involuntary movements, voices and gestures. With no expression of empathy, she told me that I had to go. Having been told this in front of the costumers, I found the experience humiliating and disheartening. I have been too many coffee shops all over the country and have never felt so degraded like this. I’ve always thought of the coffee shop community as a place that embraces equality, acceptance and tolerance towards people with diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, disabilities, ECT. Apparently, that’s not the case with the people of Apple Valley, California and certainly not with the people of The Grind House Coffee shop. I am writing this review so that anybody out there who may have Tourette syndrome or other such disabilities, who wants to find a coffee shop with staff and costumers who would be understanding, accepting and welcoming of you, I find it highly unlikely that you will find that at The Grind Coffee House in Apple Valley, CA. Hopefully you will skip pass this area and not experience the rejection, humiliation and hurt that I...

I always go here to get my Seattle Freeze Frappuccino. Very good and very friendly. Today I went after work with my chihuahua as I have done several times. I also get a pupacchino for my Buddy. Today, after I ordered and went and sat in a chair to wait with my buddy in my arms as always the owner came up telling me she was the owner and unless my dog was a service dog, I could not have it in their. I explained I've always brought him in and no one said anything. She said it was state law. She was loud and rude. A customer has been lost. Why do they give pupachinnos? In response to Owner: Your response is even rude. You make no effort to respond to the fact your were rude. You assumed my dog was not a service dog. He is not a service dog, but you just came out very rude. I don't know if someone complained, but if that is why you came at me the way you did, you still lost a customer. It's not the employees who need retraining...it's you, the owner. My dog was in my arms and I get my drink, and my puppachino and I leave. I don't linger, but I never will service your place again. Even the markets let me take him in. I can't put him in a cart, but I can walk him on a chain, or carry him. You can't even ask me if he's a service dog by law. But, I will make it official since he is In some form my service dog. I take him with me because he keeps me company. I lost my husband in 2020 and my dog is my buddy. He has no more germs...

I love The Grind, the girls are always welcoming and have great customer service. But today I was just not welcomed at all, I come here a lot, and honestly I never had a problem with any of the girls getting my food right away. But one of the girls who was working, took her 20 minutes to do my grilled cheese, on top of that she burned it. I purchased a blueberry scone and I asked her to reheat it for me, after I asked her in the beginning to do so, she reheated it and took her another 10 minutes to get it back to me. The other girl, the one with the bright red hair got it for me instead of her. Through the whole time I'm waiting for both my grilled cheese and scone, the girl with the brown hair giggles and talks away with the other girl in the red hair and with a guy that comes in. Horrible customer service, the girl in the red did a better job then her... This was on a Sunday, October 23rd at 5 pm. The girl in the red hair was sweet and had good customer service, but the other girl was just horrible in her customer service. I was...
