Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Apple Valley

I went after work to this location friday evening, 10/13 a little before 6pm. I had ordered the cowboys family size pizza on request of my grandmother. There were two little boys that made my order, and as I am sitting there watching them make my pizza, they are laughing at the pizza and saying "bruh" like they did something they shouldn't have, and found it funny. I was quite confused on that. So they finally call my name and hand me my pizza and i grab it and barely make it outside and it wasnt even properly wrapped I had toppings falling off, it was downpouring rain, so I had to go back in to have them re wrap it actually right. And that's when i noticed what was wrong with the pizza. It was literally covered/smothered with nothing but mushrooms. I brought it up with the young man that I dont want that many mushrooms and that this isnt right and he got snippy and said that's how it's supposed to be an I already paid for it. Not in the mood to fight with a prepubescent child over pizza, I left defeated and ashamed to bring this pizza to my grandmother. We bake it and sure as heck, just like we thought, nothing but mushrooms and not even any cheese on the pizza. It was the most repulsive thing I have ever taken a bite out of. My grandma couldnt even eat it and she likes mushrooms. Bottom line, the food wasnt even edible. I call the store and tell them about my experience. They didnt offer to make it right, they offered me to come in and buy another one. Why would I give you more money, for you to just mess up my order again? I wasnt offered a refund, and I wasnt offered to even have the pizza fixed. I spent my hard earned money on a stupid pizza that we couldn't even eat and havent wanted to eat anything else since. If I wanted a mushroom pizza, that is what I would have ordered. I am very upset about my experience at this store. I have never had customer service like this at any of the papa murphys locations, but this was a nightmare. I just wanted to get off work from the hospital and enjoy a simple meal with my grandmother, which neither of us got to enjoy. Threw away the entire pizza because it was not edible. Bottom line is save yourself a headache and stomachache and go to any other location but this one. They have no pride in their jobs. If you dont wanna make pizzas, maybe dont work at a pizza shop. Now because they hate their jobs, it transferred into their food and it shows. they thought it was funny and okay to serve that to someone. Very disgusted with this...

I'm so mad I could scream! I ordered a pizza at 3:17 PM (according to my receipt) for pick up at 5:15 PM (ALSO ON THE RECEIPT!) which should have not been a big deal. I go in there and no pizza!

As I walk to the counter a woman sitting on the bench informs me that her pizza wasn't there either and they are making it! Another man goes before me to the counter where he receives his pizza. Then I go up and the kid hands me my pizza and says "I don't know why its frozen, I can make a new one." WHAT?! Why is it frozen? Honestly, I order ahead so I can pick it up QUICKLY and not wait for it to be made! I had a puppy in the car, I didn't have TIME to wait for it to be remade. There were like 4 people tin uniforms there so WHY WERE THREE ORDERS NOT COMPLETE OR FROZEN ETC??! How many more problems were there that I didn't see?

Now I'm at home with a FROZEN pizza on the counter wondering when I'll be able to eat. This is so unacceptable that I don't even know what more to say. This shop is convenient for me on Tuesdays because I have puppy class nearby. However I'm really thinking about going to the Eagan store instead.... so far they haven't screwed...

This Papa Murphy's does a poor job of placing the toppings on the pizza. Every single time I get pizza from this location I find sauce or non-cheese on the crust which causes the crust to burn. Additionally, whenever I order a family-sized stuffed crust pizza from this location they do not stretch the dough out enough and it results in the pizza being smaller in circumference, it is hard to cook evenly, and it is hard to ensure that the inside of the pizza is cooked enough before the bottom burns.

I do not have the same issues at the Eagan location of Papa Murphy's that is by Target and Cub.

I will try to not order from this location again and stick to the location that knows how to...
