Garden View — Restaurant in Appleton

When I arrived to pick up my meal I was greeted by the sound of a screaming child. I was taken back, but willing to look the other way as kids do what kids will do. After speaking with, whom i was told was the manager, they walked away and snarked at my request for a large order of spaghetti and meatballs because they "we're all out" which i took as "we're all out of the premade slop from yesterday". It took 45 min for my food to finally be bagged and given to me; all the while the child i mentioned earlier was now riding around on a bicycle in the restaurant as if it was a playground, in and out of the kitchen, the dining room, outside. Just spreading Covic and whatever else is floating around nowadays everywhere throughout the restaurant. At this point my mind was made up on never going back to that establishment for the rest of my time here on this earth but was willing to leave it at that for maybe I just had a bad experience and didn't want to share my story and prevent future customers to go else where. But when i reached my home to deliver the food to my family, who has been waiting for an hour and a half at this point, the "customer favorite" spaghetti and meatballs were burnt. Have been too Garden View quite a few times. The food is always good but the woman who owns it always seems to have an attitude. Went there for the fish fry yesterday. When people ask for a refill of fish she always rolled her eyes. Then when the bill came out we asked her to tell us how much each thing was and she's had an attitude with us again but yet she did. As we were adding the prices she came up and gave me $4 and said a gift to you . By this time I just finished adding up the bill and it was right so I apologized to her and gave her the $4 back. She said oh no you keep it you need it. I done said no I'm sorry it was my mistake. She done the state it that I need it more than her. I said wow that's an insult then she said if the prices are too high I can't afford to eat here. It's sad when the owner has to try to downplay people just for asking questions. I love the food here but I'd rather go someplace when the owners realize the place is kept open by the customers.. I saw without you knowing it they add a charge on for using credit cards.

I would not even give this place a one star. My sister took our father there and this is what happened. A waitress who could only speak broken English came to us, she grabbed three menues and two sets of table wear. Brought us to our table and took our drink orders one coffee and two water's one without ice. 10 minutes later she returned to the table with one coffee and two water's with ice realising this she took one water with her, and as she did we said we would need one more set of silverware. It was 20 minuets later when she brought the water with no ice and no silverware to the table. In the mean time two other tsbles had been seated and recieved there orders. Onther 20 minutes pasted and we had not recieved our order. My sister ordered a Blt, my Dad ordered spaghetti and meat balls, I ordered a tuna melt. I have been a waitress and I know when something is not right and my sister kept making these sounds and looking at her sandwich. Dad got spaghetti and sauce. I wasunder the impression that Tuna melt came with cheese. I got tuna.?? I will not return to this...
