Edit: I am still a supporter of this establishment, however, I unfortunately have to take away a star from dealing with a slightly frustrating situation. Backstory; It is my Husband & My 5 year anniversary this year, so we went back to add another band to my set back on 3/5. I went in with the idea of getting a matching band to my wedding band. The Rep that we had had a slightly pushy vibe(which is highly uncommon here - I had never seen her before, nor have I seen her since), & At first she said that they didn't have the exact match in stock but said that she could get it ordered. So while looking she showed me one similar so that I could get the feel for what it would look like. We also tried other bands, but I chose to go with the matching one(because I am OCD and noted this to her). She ended up taking the similar one which was also not the same size(I believe it was a half size bigger) & putting that on the order. By the time my husband and I realized what had happened, he had already paid for the similar band. My husband convinced me to go with the similar band because then I would at least be able to distinguish my wedding band from the anniversary band, & the Rep reassured me that the band would be sized to my current set, & they would line it up with my other bands so that there was only one extra diamond on each side, & then soldered them together. I left feeling ok as I have never had any issues with this place before so I was trusting the process. I got the message to come pick it up 3/19, & when I went in to pick it up, the new band was not resized but just soldered onto my set. I was unhappy, but we had gone after work so they were closing and I didn't want to be difficult because I didn't know if that was common with adding a band that was a different size than the original. To note: the inside of the band is flush, only on the outer side does the new band stick out. I tried to wear it for the next few weeks & talked with a few other family and friends, but not only did it continue to bother me, everyone I talked to was saying they were shocked that they gave me back the ring like that(making me feel like it wasn't at least super common), but I also needed to have the ring resized. So on 4/5 we took it back in. I had a different Rep. She was absolutely wonderful. She sized my finger, & I mentioned how I was unhappy with the new band. She agreed & said she would even leave a note on the order to have all bands flush when resizing. I left feeling great, like I always do. I got the call that it was ready to be picked up 4/18, but was not able to pick it up until 4/19. The resize is perfect, but once again, the bands are not flush. I'm frustrated only because I've voiced my unhappiness with it and have been reassured that it would be taken care of. It's a small inconvenience but The overall look of the ring with the new band just looks off. With the extra diamonds on the sides of the new band(my engagement ring and wedding band only have diamonds coming down the sides half way) it already pulls the band down, but then with it also being bigger & sticking out lower than the other bands, it just overall looks like it's too big for the rest of the set. I am usually soo happy with this place, but this situation has just been super disappointing. Maybe I'm just misinformed and this is a normal thing when adding a band that is bigger than the original set, which if it is, I will take this all back. But, I thought & was reassured that it would be taken care of. I'm also stuck because I don't want to take it back in to try for a third time & be without my ring for another two weeks, which is roughly their turn around time for repairs which is a great turn around time but I've already been without it for 4 full weeks with this process. We looked and tried at almost every established jewelry store in the fox cities and greater Greenbay area. I also searched online to get the best understanding of what I was about to buy- the frustration and anxiety was building as the proposal day was approaching and I still felt lost. When we walked into Avenue Jewelers, instantly my anxiety diminished. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Stacy helped uniquely simplify our search and gave us a very good understanding on how the process went. Jason Druxman had some hand picked diamonds delivered and we then were in a tight spot. For me, I did not want to upsize in 10 years, the ring that was going to be used for our engagement was very important to me. I did not want her to just like the ring, I wanted her to love the ring.
