The Fire — Attraction in Appleton

You might see the prices of mugs or other stuff you can do here and think it might be too much but this is a really fun experience for all ages. It is so much fun to paint and design your own dishes or make mosaics etc. You take a piece, decorate, and The Fire professionally fires your piece to a vibrant color with an awesome glaze.

The staff is incredibly friendly and SUPER helpful. My lovely lady and I had no idea what the heck was going on but they were very patient and willing to help. No staff member was annoyed by questions. Just an overall positive experience.

We are planning on making Christmas ornaments every year with our kids here and we are going to bring them to make other stuff too. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I even saw some kids break some pieces of sample materials and the staff didn't even look annoyed. "Don't worry, it happens," is what they said.

Awesome atmosphere and awesome fun. As I said, the cost might seem high but my wife and I spent about 3 hours in there messing around so the cost per hour is a lot less than most activities and it's super fun... plus we have mugs now we can cherish forever unless...

One star based only on not receiving a text message or call when pottery was ready to pick up. Girl at register was not able to track either telephone numbers linked to our pottery. My husband walked out empty handed from the store and I went in to see what the issue was. Not only was the store employee dealing with another customer with the same exact issue I was having locating my purchased pottery, but I had to track down my pottery myself. It was located on the shelf somewhat hidden. I am disappointed to say the least it was not a very good experience to get my pottery. The experience of painting and whole process prior to the firing was exceptional. A variety of pottery to choose from and utensils and would love to come back if the pick up...

My 17 year old daughter and I started going here a little over a year ago. It is now our favorite place, we go anytime that we have off of work. It is our addiction. Love the selection of items, friendly staff, environment. She now also goes with her dad. Today we are heading there along with my 20 yr old son and his girlfriend. Awesome place to relax and hang out. We had a few minor complications, but mostly on me. Last week my daughter painted a rooster., she was notified that there was an accident in the kiln and the head broke off. they are gluing it back together and giving her a $20.00 gift card.
