I had high expectations for this McDonald’s, anticipating a quick and easy stop on my Friday drive home after a long day at work. Unfortunately, I was thoroughly disappointed. Entering the restaurant felt like stepping into a disorganized chaos where no one seemed to know what was happening. Before I even received my order, I was informed it had already been picked up- which was impossible, as I had placed the order myself and was the only one there to retrieve it. I even showed the employee at the counter my app, clearly indicating that the order remained unclaimed, yet the confusion persisted.
Eventually, I received my bag and began checking its contents to ensure accuracy- it appeared correct- but before I could finish checking, the (who I assume was the manager) manager quickly approached me at the counter, took it from my hands, and handed it off to the drive-thru. I had already handled the fries and burger, so this abrupt action felt unsettling and raised serious doubts about the hygiene standards being upheld at this location. (To whoever received that bag of food - if you are reading this - no need for concern - I overly wash my hands and you have nothing to worry about... But I cannot speak for other customers and other potentially likely occurrences of the same).
It took way too long to get my food back after that, though I’ll give them credit—the food itself was decent once it finally arrived. However - I only ordered 2 items... a burger and fries. Once I checked the bag, the only thing in it was a burger... how hard is it to get 2 items right? I had to almost go into the kitchen to get someone to correct my order... I had ordered a large fry and when my bag was given back, it had a medium fry in it... but at this point, I was sick of the incompetence and just settled. But the lobby? What a disappointment. There were barely any employees around, and the ones I saw acted like we didn’t even exist. Me and another guy had to call out “excuse me” toward the kitchen just to get noticed. I even watched a woman try to get someone’s attention, and an employee walked right past her like she wasn’t there.... I felt bad for her.
Then there was this one worker supposedly cleaning tables. He dropped tray liners and receipts on the floor, came back later, stepped all over it, and kept going like he didn’t even notice. The guy moved so slow, it was like he had no idea what was happening around him or he was straying away from other responsibilities. After seeing that, I couldn’t help but wonder how this place even functions.
There was one younger employee who at least tried to help out in the lobby, which I appreciated - until I realized why he wasn’t hearing us. He had AirPods in, and so did half the staff. No surprise they weren’t responding to anyone - they were completely checked out.
The food was okay, and I’m not going to complain too much about that - it’s McDonald’s, it’s supposed to be straightforward... it's not a 5-star restaurant. But I’m just so disappointed. The service was slow, sloppy, and it felt like no one cared. They need better training, a manager who’s actually paying attention, and maybe a rule about leaving those earbuds at home. A refresher on food safety wouldn’t hurt either. I expected more from a chain this big - I thought they’d take care to pay attention to their customers and food safety. Next time, I’ll probably just keep driving unless I’m prepared to sort out...

I placed a mobile order for 8 breakfasts at 10:55 AM for counter pickup from the parking lot. Walked in, gave them my order number, and waited. And waited. And waited.
After 25 minutes, I asked where my food was — only to be told “We never got your order.” Funny, because the app sure did. Instead of taking responsibility, they flat-out refused to make breakfast because it was “after 11.” That’s right — they made me wait until breakfast was over, then refused to serve it.
Weak apology. No effort to make it right. No refund — because apparently they “can’t do that.” Their big solution? “You can come back tomorrow.”
So I wasted nearly half an hour while their staff stood around looking confused, offering zero accountability. For a company built on efficiency, this McDonald’s location couldn’t manage a basic order.
If this crew ran an airport, planes would still be boarding from last Tuesday. Avoid this McDonald’s unless you enjoy paying for food you’ll never see and being told it’s your fault for trusting their app.
Also, the stupid feedback form they offer in response to reviews like this is garbage. It pigeons-holes the feedback, limiting the ability to provide full explanation. Requires an order number from receipt, but, funny, as soon as I walked out the store my mobile app wouldn’t give me a receipt, and I now have to make a call to get the payment refunded. So far 15 minutes and counting in hold. Absolutely...
Read moreI give them a higher star because they are nice. Friendly. But they can not get an order right the majority of the time. They get it right about 25% of the time. 2 Co workers of mine quit going as the get all our orders wrong constantly. One employee told me the majority of their employees do not speak any English. Maybe on a single, double, triple hamburger it should print out uno, dos, tres. I quit getting the triple hamburger as the could very rarely get that right. So I went to double as maybe it would be easier. But only slightly better. I screwed up today and didn't check it as I was in a hurry snd as usual, it was wrong. My fault. Why was I stupid enough to think they could get it right once without me checking it before I left. I have far better odds in Vegas than them getting it right. The owner of this franchise needs to have it taken away from him as he obviously does not care since this has been going on from the time they opened. UPDATE: I now have given up on them. They obviously know they have trouble getting orders correct, but have not corrected it. Three more times my order was wrong. This franchise owner sucks!!!
