Stopped into Tucson Tamales tonight. The food was absolutely spectacular! Every bite tasted new, fresh, and delicious. I was excited every time to take that bite. This IS my new comfort food. Next time I am craving Mexican cuisine, I will be coming here! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We instantly felt like part of their family. The staff knew the regulars on a first name basis, as they walked through the door to the shop. This locally owned business makes their customers first priority. Jaycen and Nashara are hard working, and took great care of us. They are definitely beneficial to this Locally Owned Business. And a blessing to the customers experience. I personally had the Loaded Nachos with cheese, pinto beans, tamale beef with green hatch Chilies, and a brownie. The brownie was soft, and sweet. It was a nice dessert. The tortilla chips (and regular tortillas) were fresh. We had salsa from their salsa buffet, and that paired great with the nachos. The beef was so full of flavor that I was salivating before each bite. The smell of the fresh tamales had my stomach growling for more, even when I was stuffed full. I recommend this Locally Owned Business, 11/10! P.s. get your Tamales here! They KNOW Tamales.

We're in Tucson for a long weekend. My wife recommended this place because she ate there on her last trip. I was skeptical. First time I ordered I had a chicken tamale and a pork tamale. After you took our order I went over to the salsa bar and got the condiments that I wanted. They had different salsas to try and jalapenos and limes to grab as well. When our food came I was absolutely blown away. It was so good! I haven't had tamales too much in my life and these were so good that we returned another time before we left. This time I had the pork chicken and beef tamales. All are absolutely fantastic! The staff was very nice and friendly. The atmosphere was fun. They had hot sauces that you could buy from several different brands. Most of what I've never heard of before. There was an area where you could also sample some of the hot sauces as well. I look forward to going again when we return.

Tucson Tamale Company is a warm and cozy gem that offers a delightful dining experience. For a small restaurant, it packs a lot of variety into its menu, featuring tamales that cater to every palate, from traditional pork and chicken to vegetarian and vegan options. The tamales are always fresh and flavorful, wrapped in soft, moist masa that perfectly complements the savory fillings.

One of the highlights of this place is the presentation of the food. Each tamale comes beautifully plated, with vibrant sides like rice and beans, making it clear that the kitchen pays attention to both taste and appearance. The portion sizes are just right, and you leave feeling satisfied without being overly full.

Despite its modest size, Tucson Tamale Company is thoughtfully decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to sit and stay awhile. The colors are bright and cheerful, matching the lively vibe of the place. The decor adds to the overall charm, giving it a unique personality that reflects the local culture.

Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or enjoying a casual dinner, the staff is always friendly and attentive. With its great food, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere, Tucson Tamale Company is a must-visit spot for tamale lovers and anyone looking for a delicious and...

Ordered this on door dash and meh. It was bland. Had no taste and I had both the chicken and the beef. My rice was definitely old. You cannot tell me that rice was fresh. It was hard and was just cold. Tasted like they tried to microwave it and just didn't do it long enough. Beans were tasteless. Definitely didn't taste like anything besides beans.

I even got the chorizo burrito and also pretty meh. I had better and flavorful chorizo burritos. Just seems like they didnt season anything. from my tamale to my burrito and there sides. Just meh and boring. Put some more salt and pepper and taste your food. And don't serve old rice and warm beans that seemed to be cooked from a microwave.

Over priced and I have gotten cheaper tamales in the bay area.i recommend going there to compare because this was very underwhelming.

Best, because they are the only place in Tuscon that sale them. In my opinion mediocre and tasteless. Would not...
