Read moreStopped into Tucson Tamales tonight. The food was absolutely spectacular! Every bite tasted new, fresh, and delicious. I was excited every time to take that bite. This IS my new comfort food. Next time I am craving Mexican cuisine, I will be coming here!
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We instantly felt like part of their family. The staff knew the regulars on a first name basis, as they walked through the door to the shop. This locally owned business makes their customers first priority. Jaycen and Nashara are hard working, and took great care of us. They are definitely beneficial to this Locally Owned Business. And a blessing to the customers experience.
I personally had the Loaded Nachos with cheese, pinto beans, tamale beef with green hatch Chilies, and a brownie. The brownie was soft, and sweet. It was a nice dessert. The tortilla chips (and regular tortillas) were fresh. We had salsa from their salsa buffet, and that paired great with the nachos. The beef was so full of flavor that I was salivating before each bite. The smell of the fresh tamales had my stomach growling for more, even when I was stuffed full.
I recommend this Locally Owned Business, 11/10!
P.s. get your Tamales here! They...
Read moreOrdered this on door dash and meh. It was bland. Had no taste and I had both the chicken and the beef. My rice was definitely old. You cannot tell me that rice was fresh. It was hard and was just cold. Tasted like they tried to microwave it and just didn't do it long enough. Beans were tasteless. Definitely didn't taste like anything besides beans.
I even got the chorizo burrito and also pretty meh. I had better and flavorful chorizo burritos. Just seems like they didnt season anything. from my tamale to my burrito and there sides. Just meh and boring. Put some more salt and pepper and taste your food. And don't serve old rice and warm beans that seemed to be cooked from a microwave.
Over priced and I have gotten cheaper tamales in the bay area.i recommend going there to compare because this was very underwhelming.
Best, because they are the only place in Tuscon that sale them. In my opinion mediocre and tasteless. Would not...
