As much as we LOVE their food, it doesn’t make up for the poor attitudes in the restaurant. I totally understand we are in the middle of a pandemic and times are rough and uncertain. We have been supporting Chicken Salad Chick in The Highlands since they started the Pandemic Pop-Ups, then once they opened back up we have been getting carry out containers every week (about $30 per carry out). The past few weeks the girl at the front counter and the guy (I assume a manager) with the highlighted brown hair have barely even spoken when I have picked up my carry out. The girl gives the total and doesn’t say thank you and the guy is standing right at the counter and doesn’t even acknowledge you are there...pretty poor management on his part. We are doing our best to try and help keep this franchise afloat during difficult times, so it would be nice if they put forth even the smallest amount of effort to show appreciation that our business helps them keep their jobs. If this had only occurred once, I would chalk it up to a bad day, but three weeks in a row is inexcusable.
Updated 09/23/2020: Well, it’s a month later and I have still be returning for take-out containers weekly. Yet again I am the only customer in the restaurant a few days ago, there are two young employees working at the register who are pleasant and then the same male manager from the previous post along with what seemed to be a more mature female manager or owner standing at the register not in use over to the left. Two managers six feet from me and not one of them makes eye contact or says a single word. It’s quite apparent that management has no customer service skills at this location and I guess they are making enough money to pay their rent and sustain their business during this pandemic without the need to show any appreciation to their customer base. It’s good chicken salad, but it’s not that good. You have lost my business and more importantly my positive word of mouth referrals.
Updated 06/07/2021: We caved and returned for the to-go containers of chicken salad we had missed so much. They customer service has improved immensely, which we were delighted to discover. You have definitely regained...

OK, somebody stop the press! Where has Chicken Salad Chick been all my life? The deliciousness I just experienced is unreal — I’m honestly shook. A good friend from work recommended this place, raving about how amazing their chicken salads are, so of course, I had to try it. I went in craving chicken salad in a lettuce boat… and came out with a full-on obsession.
First off, the building is adorable — quaint, clean, and super inviting. I was warmly greeted and helped by the wonderful Kaylee, who walked me through the menu and helped me pick out my delicious dinner. Shoutout to her for being so helpful and friendly!
I chose the Fancy Nancy, which has Fuji apples, seedless grapes, and pecans — a mix I’ve never had in chicken salad before, and it blew me away. Sweet, crunchy, fresh, and flavorful — absolute perfection in every bite. And let’s not forget the wheat crackers in their own cute little branded packaging… I’m living for the attention to detail.
And the cake? Moist, rich, and just the right amount of sweet — not too much, not too little. I took one bite just to “see what it was like,” and I had to stop myself because I hadn’t even touched my full meal yet. That’s how good it was.
Yes, it’s a little on the pricey side — but worth every single cent. If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would. I hate that I didn’t get more, but best believe I’ll be back very soon.
Chicken Salad Chick, you’ve got a fan...
Read moreA year ago I bought a discount card on their app. None of their locations are close to me, and since it was the last day of the month I drove over 15 miles to this location so I could get the birthday gift sandwich they emailed me about and the free large drink from the discount card. When I got there I saw neither promotion showed on the app any more, so I asked the woman behind the counter. She said that sometimes they remove them early on the last day, but would talk to the manager that was literally 10 ft from me. The manager never got up from the dining room table she was sitting at as the line grew, never came over to address the problem with me, and refused to honor the promotions. Instead of comping a drink to a customer who spent $15 over and above the promotions I was hoping to use, she refused to do anything and told the team member to tell me to email corporate. I was more upset about how the manager handled the situation than not getting the free items I was entitled to. Most Chicken Salad Chick stores I have visited are well managed and worth the drive. I won’t be back to this one if this is the way to treat loyal customers and managers can’t be bothered to manage. So no, I didn’t email your corporate office, but I did write a...
