This the worst experience in a sushi place!!!!!!
We ordered 2x appetizers , 3x special sushi rolls , and 2x sashimi rolls. The two appetizers took a a long time and when they came to our table the gyoza was cold and was stuck to the paper. I ate one after prying from the paper in pieces and couldn’t unstick the other ones and plus they were cold so I sent them back. The manager refused to take them back and told the waitress that they were warm when they came to the table. Common sense tells you that if it’s warm it will not stick to the paper. The manager never came out to talk to us or even acknowledge us. I canceled the rest of my food. How absurd to loose a customer and potential income by me cancelling the rest of my food 50ish dollars worth over something small and that was their wrong doing . I still ended paying for that joke of Gyoza and left without making a fuss. I’m not looking for freebies or discount , just wanted to share this stupid experience. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to other customers where they have a bad experience and they pay for food that wasn’t up to good standards and uneaten.
After reading your reply I want to add that we DID NOT eat more than half . We ATE ONE as previously stated. I wish I could have taken a picture but I’m not that kind of person. The staff even apologized several times and didn’t know why you were “ being so stubborn “. Not once did you come talk to us and not once was it offered to make it warmer. Read moreI'm so sad. This has been my place for years and I introduced my now husband to it. We ordered to go, they told us 40 minutes. When my husband got there it still wasn't ready, or so they said. He has waited there and asked several times and told me it was just in disarray over there tonight. He came home finally well over an hour and a half later, and one roll was missing. We've never had any issues, so we truly didn't think to check. Everything tasted as if it had been sitting there for a minute or 30 and our to go orders always taste fresh. We just had to call but the arguing on the phone when we did, it was as if no one wanted to help or take care of us and kind of felt like they were blowing us off. My husband just got angrier, and an owner or manager just wouldn't get on the phone to speak with us. Some sweet girl was telling us she could refund us for the missing roll and really, it isn't enough. No manager or owner or chef would speak to us and say sorry or be kind or ask how our other rolls were... I just felt they didn't care at all... just the sweet girl on the phone was kind enough. I'm sad to say I won't be back after this. It was just a terrible experience for us for some place we have loved for years. I hope they can figure it out, and maybe I will try again. Read moreThe chefs were ridiculously rude tonight. We ordered appetizers - the shrimp crunch, the avocado bomb and the jalapeño bomb. I made eye contact with the waitress (who was great, btw) and requested "no sauce" on anything. She confirmed and when she brought the apps with sauce all over, she stated that she told the chef that he did it wrong and he "got an attitude" with her and refused to remake them. Wow. Ok. Still - Not that big of a deal, right? I'm slightly annoyed, but the food is delicious and the service is great. However...I order a roll with NO SAUCE and joked to the waitress that I'll get an attitude back with the chef if he puts sauce on it. She laughed and said no, she'll make sure he gets it right. And do you know she brought that sushi out with sauce all over it?!? I refused to eat it, I told her that it was her choice - take it off my bill or have them make it right. She had to get a different chef to make it and we got dirty looks from the other chef all night.
