I booked a last minute birthday party and paid for the works.
I will never book a party at this establishment again. It’s not worth the prize at all. The kids enjoyed playing so 3 stars on the experience for the kids and 0 stars for my experience as a...
Read moreI recently visited Slick City with my 10-year-old son, and I was extremely disappointed. The place is marketed as a kid-friendly destination, but my visit showed me otherwise.
Full of ghetto people by the way.
First, I was taken aback by the behavior of the manager's kids. They were not only disrespectful but also openly bragged about getting in for free with a large group of friends. It created a negative and uncomfortable atmosphere that didn’t seem appropriate for a place meant to cater to families.
Moreover, the venue was filled with teenagers who appeared to be there without any parental supervision. Parents seemed to just drop their kids off and leave, which made it feel chaotic and not very controlled. As a parent, I was hoping for a more structured and family-oriented environment.
I was also frustrated with the staff, who seemed more interested in using the slides and hanging out than doing their actual jobs. There were plenty of staff members on site, but you wouldn’t know it since they were wearing after-dark shirts and acting like they didn’t work there. It was unclear who was working and who wasn’t, which added to the overall disorganization.
Additionally, there were unexpected charges for items that weren’t clearly explained when we arrived, and I found the pricing to be quite high for the experience we received. Given the amount I spent, I expected a much better experience and more value for my money.
Overall, I won't be coming back to Slick City. It didn’t live up to its promise of being a fun, family-friendly spot. It was chaotic, overpriced, and far...
Read moreI really wanted to give a 5 star rating because my son enjoyed the slides and basketball area; the atmosphere was nice! However, our entry experience wasn’t great at all! The staff wasn’t too bad, a couple desk employees made unpleasant facial expressions. In addition, all employees (except 1 front -desk employee who has tattoos and wore the green colored shirt and was very pleasant) seemed as if they didn’t know too much about the company’s computer system. We were there for a party but for some reason, there were issues with my son’s waiver. We completed all necessary requirements before arriving, had the printout on my phone, only to be told they couldn’t find my son’s waiver under my name in the computer system. My husband tried completing the waiver, twice but staff still couldn’t find the info! We wanted to leave and a family member actually left; she was an adult with no kids just trying to get in to sit down! Lots of bottlenecks with trying to join a party; it took us about 30 minutes to get in. I suggest training staff how to properly operate the company’s computer system or have a better flow of signing kids in instead of having everyone sign a waiver, because everyone’s not participating with sliding. We stopped at the front desk to sign in, only to stop at the next desk to sign in,...
