This place is either under new leadership or desperately needs to be Upon entering the door, there is an overwhelming odor of sour milk, which leads you to believe they are sloppy/dropping ice cream and not cleaning it up off the floor. It was my birthday and my husband took me to get some ice cream, we had not been here in about six months. After we were slapped in the face with the stench, we should’ve left, but we were already committed at that point. Half of the canisters that previously held toppings, etc., are empty. They were unable to make what I wanted because they “ do not carry coconut at this location anymore “ (?) They were unable to make what my husband wanted because they had no banana. We both made our second choice, we both ordered “like its size” I was handed and charged for a “love it”size. when I pointed this out to the young lady, she said “you must have told us you wanted a “ regular size”.. to which I told her no, I did not. I ordered “like a size”. I have been to cold stone at least 50 times and understand how to order. Without a doubt will never step foot in this establishment again as it was nasty, and the people working did not exactly exude friendliness. This place needs to be shut down for a week and deep cleaned top to bottom. Take down all of the extra signage and your homemade “card payments only“ signage and level up to the brand you represent. I asked the young lady if this establishment is about to close down because it felt like they are trying very hard to run customers away.

Read moreI was there Sunday night. I honestly never carry cash or card anymore. I usually pay everywhere with my cellphone. My sister told me about this place and I wanted to go check it out since my wife loves ice cream. I love in duncanville so this location was kinda close to my house so I went and I order 2 one for me and one for my wife and obviously looked delicious so i started eating it and when I was about to pay a girl told Me it was only cash or card. I felt bad about it but there was nothing I could do I told her I didn't have cash or my card. I asked if I could send money thru the app Zelle or something and they said no. I asked for a manager cause I mean I wanted to pay and enjoy my ice cream. Someone came up to me and said If I didn't have a way to pay I had to throw it away and couldn't eat it anymore. I told both of the workers that it was my first time there, that I came to try it out for the first time, that I wanted to have something special for my wife and that I came all the way from Duncanville and they still told me the same thing that no money I had to just toss it. A lady behind me told them that she would pay for my ice cream. I was surprised and embarrassed that He wanted to pay for my ice cream. Managers and workers didn't care and she paid for me. I just think they could have handle it better. It's not like my order was a lot of money. Made me feel bad and I just wanted to share it. Read moreI was very disappointed with the service I received on 4/20. After enjoying a good meal with family and friends, we decided to treat ourselves to ice cream. Normally, I have no issues with the ice cream or the service. Well that day, I learned it depends on the server. I ALWAYS order the Founders Favorite. So, I KNOW what's in it and how it should be made. I ordered one for myself and my sister. My mom and friend of the family also ordered the same thing, but it was made by a different server. I should of taken a picture to post. There was a huge difference. Found this out when we went back to the car. I'm looking at my order compared to the others. HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!
When I went back to the store and shared with the young lady my dissatisfaction with the ice cream. She didn't acknowledge it. She started to sound like a broken record and kept saying, "I know I made it right." "We use the right amount of proportions and toppings...yada yada". Again, because I always order the Founders Favorite, I was not satisfied with her answer or service. I asked for a refund or to have it remade. Then she started with the " I know I made it right!" I asked to speak with a manager, who was conveniently not there. She brought out the Shift Leader who was no help either!
At the end of the day, They had the room and opportunity to make it right. You could have apologized. You could have remade the order. Offered a credit or something. However, none of that was done.
