I haven't been to India Grill since before they were at the back of the Highlands. They had a buffet then and I very much enjoyed the food I chose from the buffet.

The interior of the new location is very nice & much improved from that of the other location. Probably especially nice at night. The sun angle made it difficult for me to take many photos.

I wanted to try a few things I had not before. I started with the Aloo Tikki Chaat. Its 3 small fried potato patties covered in a yogurt sauce, a sweet & spicey tamarind sauce and a green chutney. Parts of the potato patties were lightly crispy, but in general they didn't give a great mouth feel - thick and tastless. I didn't care for the taste of the combined sauces at first, but came to very much like the taste. I didn't care for the green chutney (if I am using the correct term).

The salad was supposed to be cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers with spices and lemon juice. The cucumber slices were so horribly bitter I couldn't eat them (not their fault) & there were no bell peppers. I could see a light sprinkle of spice, but could taste nothing and there was no lemon juice any where. I asked them to take the salad away because it was just far too bitter to eat. I asked that they take it off my tab because of the extreme bitterness & they happily did so.

Next up was the Mulligatawny Mulgai soup." A delicately spiced lentil soup garnished with rice and chicken". The lentils had been blended into the soup and it was a bit thin and VERY bland. No rice and some chicken. It came with a lime wedge, which I definitely used and had to add salt & pepper several times to give some flavor. The soup has great potential if they would add more lentils (whole or pureed) and significantly increase the spices or actually add them.

Last was Gulab Jamun, which I have had before at India Grill, as well as other restaurants. I have always had them served hot. Today, they were cold, which was a heck of a shock! I was expecting a hot sweet bite and that's NOT what I got! They are definitely better hot. I won't order them again.

The biggest issue was that I asked for a glass of Pinot Grigio, which is a white wine. My waitress brought me a glass of unknown red wine. They happily fixed it and apologized.

Having eaten there before, I know they serve great tasting food, but I was definitely NOT impressed today. There's no way they could know how bitter a cucumber could turn out to be, but all of the stated components of the salad should have been present on the plate and they can taste it to see if it's adequately spiced. Same with the soup - the rice should have been there. I would order the Aloo Tikki Chaat again, but without the green chutney. The wine was inexcusable- their staff should be familiar enough to know the difference and they only offer...

The restaurant's décor is tasteful but modest, with subtle nods to Indian culture placed all over the place. From elaborate tapestries on the walls to elaborate light fixtures that emit a gentle glow.

Every appetite can be satisfied by the extensive selection of meals offered by India Grill, which offers a culinary voyage through the country's various regions. There's something for everyone here, regardless of your preference for hot South Indian spices or classic North Indian dishes like butter chicken and naan bread.

The butter chicken is one of the restaurant's best dishes; it's a thick, creamy curry with delicate spices that strike the ideal balance. It is a dish that is always pleasing when served with freshly baked naan and fluffy basmati rice.

Lamb vindaloo is a fiery punch that will delight even the most daring palates for those who are desiring something a little hotter.

At India Grill, vegetarians will also find a wide variety of delectable vegetarian dishes that are just as tasty and gratifying as their meat-based counterparts. A standout dish is the paneer tikka masala, which consists of tender cubes of paneer cheese cooked in a flavorful sauce with a tomato base.

Trying some of India Grill's delicious desserts will make any meal there more than perfect. Every dessert, from classic favorites like Gulab Jamun to opulent masterpieces like pistachio kulfi, is a delightful way to cap off an exquisite meal.

India Grill is known for its delicious food, but it's also known for its flawless service, with friendly servers that are eager to make sure every customer has a memorable meal.

All things considered, India Grill is a must-go-to place in Arlington, Texas for anyone hankering after real Indian food. It's a dining experience that will have you going back for more because of its welcoming atmosphere, extensive food, and faultless service. India Grill is guaranteed to please, regardless of your level of experience with Indian cuisine or your desire to try new dishes.

My family and I dined at this amazing restaurant yesterday (12/24/2022) and it was an absolute incredible experience! We were celebrating my mom's upcoming birthday and this is one of her favorite places to eat. This was my first time dining. The ambiance is so warm and welcoming with cultural music and decor.

The owners and staff were so very kind and welcoming! One of the staff spilled some food on some of our jackets and we assured everyone that it was okay and things happen (I've waited tables so I know exactly how he felt and wanted to assure him that this would not take away from our experience).

The staff took our jackets, cleaned them as best as they could and let them dry while we ate. Everyone was so very kind and apologetic and we just wanted to ensure them that we were still having an amazing time.

Now for the food, everything was INCREDIBLE!!! I ordered the chicken marsala entree, chicken tikka appetizer and garlic Naan bread. I wanted to save some to have for later but everything was so delicious that I finished it all!! Everyone enjoyed their meals and we all stated that we would be back. We were given their donut dessert and I tried some of their rice pudding and they were both delicious as well. I definitely plan to become a regular at this establishment!!

The service is incredible and the food is delectable! I want to try as many dishes as I possibly can!! You can't go wrong with this place! Perfect for families or a date night! I certainly plan to bring my significant other. If you enjoy this type of cuisine, you can't go wrong. It may very well become your favorite place to dine!!

Thank you again to the amazing staff as well as the owners for such an amazing experience and delicious food. I will DEFINITELY ...
