DO NOT COME HERE WASTE OF MONEY* SEE THE REPLY ON THE OTHER REVIEW TO HOW THE OWNER BEHAVES**

I had ordered two Chicken Biriyanis for takeout. When I got it the rice smelled so bad that I could tell it was not made that day and and it was extremely stale, that too at lunch time. The rice was soggy and oilly and it was obvious that they gave me stale food. I went back and asked the owner very politely regarding the rice and told him about the situation. He started yelling and gathering other customers in the store to start smelling the rice and kept on telling me that he sold 10 orders of rice since the morning and it was never bad. I again, politely asked him if he could remake it but instead he rudely told me he cannot and just straight up just said he will give me a refund and he do not want to remake anything. The owner is extremely ignorant of his customers, and very rude and unwelcoming. The store always stays empty and now I realize for good reasons but I have tried it before and it is adequate for the price tho they do not provide an egg like Spicy Bites does, when UTA is open but whenever UTA is closed they serve old stale rice which they make days ago and were not able to sell. I am utterly disappointed and I will not visit them again. Spicy Bites is actually...

Response to your reply: According to you, customers who express their dislike to your food has no credibility on differentiating what good food is and what's not? I was adding a recent experience of my visit for 'Hyderabad House' under which I found my review on yours. I found a typo in my review, and proceeded to correct it. Criticisms are what makes a business know what they are lacking at, is what I believe. And, I add reviews based on my personal experiences if you see my profile. Sorry, if it offended you in any way, but gaining followers or traffic is the last thing I expect from this.

Prices are high. Food doesn't taste good. Watching the word 'Indian' in the name of the place, I was so happy that we finally had one more Indian corner nearby UTA. They had a dining place as well as desi groceries section in there. Groceries are utterly expensive. We tried Butter Naan, Paneer Butter Masala, and Panipuri here. Paneer Butter Masala was passable, but that panipuri was a big fail. The filling, the chutneys... It's more inclined towards being called a sweet dish rather than a savory snack. And the chilled pani was flavorless, making your palette...

TLDR: Great food. Shitty everything else. For what you'll spend, there are several places whose food is just as good and you get a far better experience. Like actually being served.

The Good: The Chicken Tikka Masala was fantastic.

The Bad: Everything Else.

First, I wasn't expecting to eat in a grocery store. But that's exactly what it is. You'll be seated at a table in the actual grocery store aisle.

Second. Don't expect your food to be actually brought to your table. Nope. Even though you just paid close to 20 bucks, it's on you to fetch your food when it's ready. Oh and you also have to go get your own crappy, cheap plastic utensils and cheap crappy styrofoam plate, because if you don't, they're just gonna look at you with a confused look on their face when you ask why they don't. That's what happened ...

Great experience, excellent service by the owner. Food is great. Mango lassi is the best and it runs out quickly. A friend of mine said the chicken biryani and butter chicken is also superb so I'm going to try that next! Price seems justified by the quantity. Perfect location on campus just next to Panera bread. Exactly opposite to College Park Center Gate 2.

Very disappointed. TINY portions for the price. Malai kofta shouldn’t look and taste like cream gravy (grey and bland) Chicken Korma has a lot of bones for only 6 nugget sized pieces (for $14!) Sad. Bad food bad value. Won’t stay in business. Naan was absolutely delicious! Cool store inside.
