Mike's Cafe — Restaurant in Arlington

This was our first time trying this Cafe and we were excited to see that the menu had a great variety. My husband tried the Ramen which he loved, I ordered a salad for myself and a tuna melt for my son. Luckily we decided to eat nearby because we recieved the wrong sandwich. I went inside and apologized for the confusion but we ordered a tuna melt. Two out of three employees then went on to insinuate that I made the mistake. After asking about the price difference (I wanted to offer to pay the extra) the man behind the register answered "yes the tuna melt is more but we all heard turkey melt". As a first time customer I didn't even know they had a turkey sandwich on the menu so I know I did not say that. Anyway, not very thrilled with the customer service after that...

The only reason it's not 1-star is because the food is great -- when you can actually get it. I've now been 3 times, and have attempted to go numerous times. Ignore how I've showed up the Mike's being closed around noon on a Tuesday, or dinner time on a Friday (real-life examples). When you actually can find it open, pray they have what you want. The first time I went I got hands-down the best sandwich I've had in Ballston, and raved to it to my roommates. The next times? No chicken, no bread, no wraps, no lettuce, etc etc etc. So good luck finding it open, and I hope you actually have the chance to eat some of there food.
