Very disappointed with the staff and rude behavior from the male employees. I ordered two bowls and salsa on the side. I had to come back to the store to get the missing salsa and I assumed the bowls were correct. (Nope). When I got home I saw the bowls were incorrectly made. I sped back to the store being that they were closing in 15 minutes.
When I get there, I explained the loaded tortilla soup wasn’t included as well as other toppings and asked if they can give me the missing items. I was told I need to first being the bowls back. I explained it’s physically impossible to bring the bowls back when they close in 15 minutes. (The tortilla soup is also on the side so even if I brought the bowl, you can’t confirm if you included the soup). I asked the workers if they remember putting the soup in the bag and they couldn’t remember. Both workers refused to provide the missing items and said they need to get manager approval first before getting the soup and other items (lettuce, pico, etc.) I assumed they were going to call the manager from the store phone but instead, they gave me the managers personal number and told me to call to get the approval for them. I called Julie on speaker at 8:54pm, she didn’t pick up, which I would expect. I’m sure she would have picked up if the phone call would have come from the store number. After further back and forth, the two guys finally gave the missing cup of soup, and toppings minus the corn salsa.
As someone who worked in customer service, who came in calm BOTH times.. I should not have to get to a 10 to get the missing items. The escalation was not necessary and I should not have had to call the manager myself, in the moment, to get approval for them. There should be a team lead present if they are “not allowed” to make decisions for themselves.
Overall poor customer service, no accountability, and no greeting when I entered. At minimum take out your AirPods when assisting...
Read moreI’m truly disgusted by what happened when I went there on 11/2/22 a little after 7p. I get there and one of the workers was sitting on the counter. I should’ve known then my experience was going to be horrible. It’s unsanitary to be sitting on a counter and especially in a public setting. Fast forward I was ordering a kid nacho. I always get queso blanco. I worked in restaurants for years so I’m familiar with expectations and standards. One of the workers poured fresh cheese into the container that looks like it had been sitting all day with hard cheese around the inside of the container. Then I requested extra chips as my side. Why not just put them in one brown bag instead of two small white bags? The mixed boy with the curly hair who was preparing my food thought it was a bright idea to take his gloves off in the middle of preparing my food. He used his bare hands to open the small white bags to put my chips in. I mean stuck his bare hand in the bag to open it. Then he continued to pour chips in the bag and I see that they are also touching his bare hand. And the chips that overflowed from the bag, that were touching his hands, fell back into the chip tray/drawer. I bring it to his attention that I did not like that and I said, “you just used your bare hands to open my bag.” Again. I’m looking at him the whole time!! He lied to my face and said, “No, I did not but I can make it over.” I responded, “yes you did. I saw you when you did it!” I don’t understand why he felt the need to remove his gloves to grab my chips. I’m truly disgusted! And ended up walking right out because I am NOT eating that!! As I was getting in my car and putting on my seatbelt I then see him wipe his nose with his bare hands and did not wash them at all!! He didn’t even wash his hands when I first Entered. They really need to be trained on the importance of...
Read morei went here for breakfast/lunch. I ordered $15+ worth of food plus tipped the crew members. They were very nice at first. I stopped in here because Im preggo and had recently taken insulin and felt jittery plus i hadn't had Qdoba since living up North. I ordered Guacamole and a Quesadilla. Upon waiting for my Quesadilla to be grilled I knew i needed carbs.. i explained to the young lady my medical situation and asked if i could have 4 chips to eat my guac while i waited for my food to be grilled. She spoke to an older lady that was cutting up avocadoes, in Spanish, and conveyed to me I'd have to purchase a $4 bag of chips if i wanted to eat 4 chips. The condiment size container of Guacamole they made me purchase didn't permit for a brown paper bag full of chips. Furthermore the quesadilla I purchased was suppose to come with Guac and sour cream but because they wouldn't let me substitute the Sour cream for another guac...they made me pay for a side of guac and didn't provide me with chips. AFRAID of PASSING OUT in the midst of some INCOMPETENT IDIOTS I noticed there were cookies and bought one to raise my sugar levels more quickly... I say this to say ... I will Never eat here or PATRONIZE this Qdoba again! This was a vital situation and all this place could think about was capitalizing off my medical situation... TRUST if I knew I could've made it safely to a different restaurant without Blacking out I would've CANCELED this order altogether! What it boiled down to is this Qdoba decided my life wasn't worth 4 (FOUR) chips as a paying customer. HORRIBLE...
