It seems silly writing a review for a Whataburger (if you've been anywhere near Texas for more than a day, surely you've tried one, right?!) but it this location definitely deserves a shout out. The store was spotless and the food was great (not a huge surprise) but, as someone who's worked in quite a few restaurants, I always like to see employees that are eating the food (before/ after shifts or on break, doesn't matter) because that's the real test of a restaurants being well-managed and sanitary. I've worked places that I was afraid to eat at and I've worked places where I disliked my job (and/or coworkers) enough that I would pass up discounted food in favor of not spending an extra second in the place I was working. Last, I've worked places that put you to work the second you walk in (even if you intentionally show up 20 minutes early) and don't give you a break ever. I was in there right around shift change (4pm) but there was at least 8 employees either about to start a shift or on a break. It probably sounds dumb, but it really is a strong indicator of a well-run...
Read moreI have nothing against the establishment itself however I wanted to shoutout a specific Employee by the name of Inglie. I’m not sure if I spelt her name right but she wears a puffy ponytail underneath her work hat. She was unnecessarily rude to me and that was uncalled for. I ordered my food through the drive-thru and when I came to the window, she handed me my Items and said “Everything is in the bag” I thanked her and retrieved the items. Before I could turn around to ask for some more spicy Ketchup, She closed the Drive-thru window on me. Before I drove off, I wanted to make sure I had everything I had ordered in the bag (Including the spicy ketchup). Before I was able to pull off, I heard her make a nasty comment Which was uncalled for. Fortunately, I went inside to voice my distress to Another employee and he apologized about the situation and offered a resolution. As someone who works in Retail and sales Myself, I can understand that some customers can be difficult to deal with, however this was not the case, and Inglie’s blatant rudeness was completely...
Read moreLet me start by saying i love whataburger and my feelings are hurt that i even have to write this. I went through the drive thru today and ordered a jr mushroom swiss burger meal and when i got it the fries were very crunchy and burnt. I look at the burger and its covered in sauce all on the outside, already soggy. So i just got back in line and explained and whoever was on the headset was rude and was acting like if my fries werent charred and brown i shouldnt get new ones and that my burger was how it was supposed to be. I kept cool and was nice. Received my replacement meal and it was made w the same mistakes. Ive never even had to have a meal remade and whata before, so to now have it redone BADLY out of spite makes me wonder if maybe they spit in it too. The lil girl on the headset should really be fired or at LEAST not be allowed to work w customers over that cuz she was insanely rude. Wish the cooper location was done w renovations cuz i never wanna go to...
