Sadly, this location has really gone down hill. I had order Curbside pick-up online and waited several minutes PAST (10 minutes+) for my order to come... it never did. Tried calling their number and, per the recording's instructions, hit 1 for curbside pick-up... no one ever answered and it went to voicemail for the restaurant (I tried calling it twice). As I had a cold and didn't want to spread germs by going inside, I drove through the drive through and was told that they were still working on my order and that I could drive back and park in the Curbside Pickup Parking (where I had already waited over 10 minutes PAST when my order was supposed to be brought out) or wait in the very long drive through line. I stupidly chose to go back to the Curbside Pickup Parking and wait for my order to be brought out. I waited ANOTHER 10 minutes and still no one came out with my order. I went back to the drive through and they told me they were still working on my order. I told them I would wait through the drive through line. When I got to the window, they told me to wait some more... it was anothe 6 minutes before they gave me what was supposed to be Curbside Pickup Order through the drive through and my order was WRONG. They left off toppings from the steak fajita nachos (it had nine little pieces of steak and queso over already very soggy chips; NO refried beans, NO sour cream, NO guacamole at all), they forgot the dulce de leche for the sopapillas AND the Dr Pepper which was ordered to complete the combo. Their prices have gone up, but sadly their food, quality, attention to fulfil orders and customer service are in the deepest depths of disappointment. The food I did receive was a thrown together mess that was sub-par in quality, lacked any freshness and, besides having several things I paid for missing, lacked any flavor at all. I did talk to the "manager" who did not care one bit. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I have noticed a down-turn at this location over the past few years, but always want to give another chance... NEVER, EVER AGAIN. IF it were an option, my review would present NEGATIVE STARS for all criteria for this location of Taco Cabana. I hope my review helps someone save their time and hard-earned money to be spent somewhere else than have an experience as I did at the Little Road Taco Cabana...
Read moreToday (2/2/18) was my first and LAST time going to this location. I ordered 2 chorizo breakfast tacos and one bacon, egg and cheese taco. Before I even pulled out of the drive thru my clothes, floor board and sack was full of grease. Granted chorizo is a greasy food but it should NEVER be that greasy to where it starts soiling everything. So I went back around through the drive thru, handed the lady the greasy sack and asked for my money back. She closes the window and starts talking to the manager. The manger (offered apology... no nothing!) hands me back my receipt rolled up. I was so upset it didn't cross my mind to unroll it and count my money. I get all the way to a gas station and unroll the receipt to find no cash. So I called the number on the now TWO receipts he gave me and asked to speak to the manager. He gets on the phone and I say.... "You gave me two receipts but no cash." He says "Oh I thought you paid with card." I said ".... It didn't say card on the original receipt I gave you when I asked for a refund." He said "When you're ready to come pick it up I'll have it ready." (Rude, unprofessional and still... NO APOLOGY!) He had refunded my money onto a previous customers card. So I drive back and this time I get out and go in. Asked for the manager. He comes up and goes straight to register to give my money back. No eye contact, rolling his eyes around like he's the one who has the right to be upset. So I asked him if they also replace clothes that are full of grease from their food... He said "Nope!" I was just thinking at some point an apology would have to happen eventually.... but NOPE! So I asked to speak with someone over him. He says "I can't give you their number but I can give them your number and he'll call you within 30 minutes." I said ok! It's 2 hours later and I have yet to receive that call. Pitiful! They should be ashamed of themselves in that place. Had I read the reviews first I can guarantee you I would've NEVER went there. Good customer services starts with the manager first. Therefore, the manger needs to be fired and the employees need more training. I'm pretty sure the reviews will be a whole lot better than what...
Read moreI never ever thought I would negatively review taco cabana but I recently moved and here in this area and I walk into the little road location. First with my daughter one night after practice. We decided to walk in, and we stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes, while employees kept going about like were were not standing there. I had to yell out, "is someone going to take our order." Also let me say, it was not busy... You can tell they were upset that we were there. And it was about 9:15 PM. You have forty five minutes left it's not closing time! Someone took my order finally at 936pm!!
We get our food, they forget items. I'm over it. I don't want to go back.
Fast forward 2 days later. I want to buy breakfast tacos for my employees, I give them another chance, maybe it was the nighttime employees, maybe they were trying to get out of there, whatever. So now it's 10 in the morning, I do an online order, I walk in give them my name.
The lady at the counter yells out across the restaurant for my order, Noone responded. Someone in the lobby cleaning up yells out she gave it to rebecca, No one answers her. She repeats this over and over. The lady standing in front of me says whatever i'm over it and walks away. She looked like she went on break because she went and got a drink in the lobby.
The lady cleaning the lobby finally comes over, and ask Rebecca if she got the order. They finally say yes we're working on it. I stand there for about five more minutes then finally get my order.
I would say my biggest thing for this location I realized is unprofessionalism. They conduct themselves in a very unprofessional manner they appear to not have any care in the world for their job our service. I wanted to add the lady at the counter very ungroomed very disheveled looking and had "I don't want to be here look on her face." Leadership needs to take a look at the staff, And reevaluate.
