Iāve been coming to Chapps burgers for several years and this is the last time I will ever come to this location or other locations
I came in at about 5:50pm there was only 2 people in the dining area eating
I had to take my food on the run so I ordered it to go
Tell me why I ordered my food and then went to sit down and a whole crowd of people showed up a couple minutes later and they got their food first and totally disregarded me, I even left a tip that I wish I didnāt
I hear them call my name after everyone else has received their food and I come up to the counter and I ask for the owners phone number and for the ladyās name and she refuses to give me her name or the owners number, I explained the situation and her response was I called your name 3 times and you never came up.
This is not true as I was sitting very close to the register where there is no way I wouldnāt of heard them calling my name
This rubbed me the wrong way as a small business owner myself I would never treat my customer like this.. another thing I found very interesting was that no one at this building knows the owners information which I found strange told me to go on Google and look it up.
Hopefully someone reaches out to me if not you will never get my business again and Iāll continue to share...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to eat here many years ago but had moved away and hadn't in several years. My son was craving a burger and to be honest, I'd forgotten about chapps because i just don't frequent the area anymore. We'll we happened to be nearby and BAM, there is was, my old friend on Google maps. I instantly tell my son, "hey, i used to eat there as a kid, wanna try it?" He replies, "if you ate there as a kid, it's probably old and run down" so that was it, we were eating there for sure. To make a long story short.. Both my and my son's burgers were of the charts good, better than I'd remembered honestly. The fries were cooked fresh and crispy. I'm a burger snob as is my son and we both rate their burgers a 10/10 (son) and 9.5/10 for me. VERY few burger joints in Texas even come close to rating this high. Alamo Springs Cafe in Fredericksburg, Texas and LA Burger in the Dallas area come to mind, but that's it. "Grill'em all burger" in Alhambre California is a close third. In all honestly, I'd rate chapps right up there with them. Chapps is truly that good. If you're a burger snob like me, your gonna love this place. Highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe love chapps, order from there all the time. But tonight they completely screwed up our order. Only one of 4 items was correct, and when we called the store, the lady on the phone had a horrible attitude about it and was rude and unhelpful. She tried to tell us nothing was on the receipt, but I was looking right at the receipt with everything on it correct. She said āyou can come up here.ā Iām sorry, but we did delivery for a reason. How about having a better attitude, being better with customer service, and trying to actually be helpful instead of saying stuff wasnāt on there when it was. One of our burgers was supposed to have bacon and avocado, it had neither. They didnāt put cheese on a Philly cheesesteak, and another burger was supposed to have avocado and pepper jack cheese. Most of those toppings we had to pay extra for, and didnāt get them. We normally love chapps, but i donāt know that weāll order from this location again. Especially with such a rude person...
