We have dined in before and the food was good. However it was Saturday night and we decided to call in an order. Started calling at 5:45pm the phone just rang; attempted several times for an hour no answer. My husband drove over to the restaurant arriving at 6:45pm. (It took 20 minutes for the drive and I continued to call while he drove that direction. No answer.)

Upon arrival my husband saw only 2 tables of two people each. He had to wait to place the order, finally placing the order he waited, another couple came in they sat ordered and ate then left, still our food not out. (No explanation of why the phone went unanswered when they were not busy.)

We ordered 2 pad kee maos, 1 pad see ew, 1 curry chicken and 3 sweet sticky rice with custard. 1 hour 15 min later the food came out; only 2 custards left.

The food and service this time not good at all. (Didn’t provide enough rice with the curry like a half cup of rice very tiny, small portions of pad kee mao, they put a lot of pepper on our youngest pad see ew, the sweet sticky rice was hard and dry missing the coconut sauce.) Not sure what occurred. I told my husband he should have cancelled the order and picked up from Siam.

However we will not return to this restaurant due to the poor customer service when ordering takeout, no answering of phones when not busy, slow ordering service, under served dinner portion, over spicing when no spice requested, food quality unacceptable, lack of urgency to serve customers or food. Very...

This is a small restaurant tucked into a strip mall shopping center. It has the typical family owned restaurant feel of many Asian restaurants I have visited in the past. The parking lot has plenty of room, the restaurant is small, but seating is adequate. We went on a Saturday night and there were no more than a dozen people in the restaurant. The seating was available for more than double that. The lady who greeted us was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The food was great and we didn’t have to wait very long. We were able to customize our meals without difficulty.

An error was made on my order and it was quickly corrected. What was most noticeable about how it was handled, was the courteous and professional attitude. There was no unnecessary discussion or blaming of anyone, but it was simply corrected without any drama. I appreciated how it was handled.

I ordered the Thai fried rice with chicken and beef. They offer seasoning that is rated 1 thru 5, with 5 being the hottest. I ordered 3 to play it safe. It was about as hot as a hot picante sauce. I don’t mind more seasoned food, so next time I will order a little more heat.

My wife is on a gluten free diet, which wasn’t a problem. She also is on a ketogenic diet, which also wasn’t a problem. One of our party is a vegetarian, and they offer foods that fit his needs, as well.

Acoustics are nice and not too noisy.

The price was quite reasonable.

This was a nice experience and we will...

I had a first date with somebody and they wanted to go to a Thai restaurant somewhere in Arlington but they couldn't remember the name. I mapped it and found the reviews on this place and decided to try it. All I can say is WOW! The chefs cook at Thai Temple every Sunday and their food is legend. I opted for three dishes and one of those dishes was an off menu item.

Ask for Chinese Broccoli with roasted pork. This had to have been the best dish I've ever had with roasted pork. I typically eat roasted pork without the chinese broccoli but this dish alone filled me up. In Thai this dish is called Kha Na Moo Grab. She also made a beef and vegetable dish (no idea the name). I also ordered the Khao Soi with chicken which was also delicious on the tongue.

Honestly this is a treasure of a place. The decor needs some work and the service was great. However this place was clean. It's unfortunate to see patrons open the door, look at the place and walk out - they really don't know what they are missing. My date is a restaurant manager himself and he loved the food. The desserts could use something extra and the chef/owner (her name is GiGi) has a culinary degree and culinary experience at a many restaurants/bars on Greenville Ave and Tei An. Believe me, you are getting some great experience here in terms of Thai specialties and...

Ever entered a restaurant and the smell of their food makes you want to jump up and down with excitement? I went to Thai Basil Leaf, not even hungry mind you, to pick up an order for someone else, and as soon as i walked in I instantly felt as if I had found a hidden treasure just by the incredible savory aroma in the air. Needless to say, all of a sudden I was hungry! And my nose didn't, nor did Thai Basil Leaf, let me down. Oooh sooo good. This first experience I tried an order of the Crab Cream Rolls (yeah, was was even tastier than the name) and my main dish was the Spicy Basil (with a spicy level 4 out of 5). DEEEEE-LISH!!! Thai Basil Leaf now has a loyal customer because not only does their food rock, the staff is incredibly friendly and the small dining area is tastefully decorated and comfy. I hope more discover this local gem and keep them as busy as they deserve. Come on Thai food lovers, help this locally talented business during this uncertain time and beyond. Treasures like Thai Basil Leaf need the support and appreciation they so well deserve.

If there is a Thai restaurant in Arlington, where can you find it? The location for you is here. This is one of the best Thai restaurants in the Arlington region, in my view and taste. Despite the fact that the restaurant is not particularly busy, it has been established for a long time and places a strong emphasis on quality. It's not like a newly opened Thai restaurant that considers itself to be "The Best in Town." Eatery Thai Basil Leaf: Cozy setting that seems like home; the lady treats you like a relative. The meal is delivered swiftly, and the flavor is altered depending on the level of spiciness you want. When you visit this location, you should try the Thai tea. Crab Cheese is a fantastic appetizer that tastes great right away. In general, it's a smart idea to voice your views. This establishment, which I believe serves Thai food, is one I would suggest.

Went on a Saturday night. Immediate seating. They have a good selection of food. We had the crab ragoons that were a little skimpy on the filling but tasty. The food came out at different times. The dishes were good. The lo mein was heavy on the vegetables and skimpy on the noodles which was not great to my 8 year old son. The beef noodle soup came out too spicy when we ordered a 1 out of 5 for spice level. They happily fixed it when the server finally came back. Although the rest of us finished our meals by the time the soup came out. The beef was flavorless but the broth was good. The service was terrible. We had to ask everytime to get our drinks refilled and the server would not check on us everytime he came into his station. I had my card ready to pay for 15 minutes. Will not return. Arlington offers so many other options.
