We have visited the Keg Steakhouse + Bar in Arlington a few times before. None of them have ever stood out as being fantastic or bad. When my friend decided that for her birthday dinner, she'd like to give it another shot, I said sure and made us a reservation. Last night's dinner was the worst experience we have by far had in any (what I would consider) higher-end establishment.

After being sat, it took about 10 minutes to be greeted by our server, De'Anthony - we should have known from there it would all be downhill. The birthday girl ordered wine and my husband and I stuck with water - which was refilled only once after sitting with empty cups for the majority of the evening. After placing our orders, the birthday girl's meal came out incorrectly. The food runners just dropped it off and ran away. De'Anthony didn't come and check on us and I'm not sure he would have if I wouldn't have had to go out of my way to make eye contact with him. About 30 minutes later he finally stopped by our table for us to notify him that one of the entrees was incorrect. After double-checking his notes, I suppose he realized he did in fact make a mistake... Another 30 minutes go by for the birthday girl to FINALLY receive her correct food. I also had to point out that she needed more wine, as her glass had been empty for most of the evening. At this point, we are ready to go and salvage what's left of the evening. De'Anthony took another 20 minutes to box up our food, another 15 to bring us her birthday dessert, and then finally dropped the check - to our surprise, after mentioning he was comping the meal (since she didn't eat more than two bites) the only items comped on the check were her second glass of wine ($9 value) and her birthday dessert that we didn't even order (another $9) value.

For a higher-end establishment, this was a complete waste of money and time. Management and staffing should be better trained or maybe this place should lower the prices to match...

I did not have a good experience here. They dropped the ball on my mother-in-law’s birthday. Had reservations for a few weeks now and had to wait over 15 minutes to get seated (we were just a party of 5). After being seated, we waited 20 minutes to get water (just water) and had to get the manager’s attention multiple times to just get refills on waters. When we got bread they didn’t provide plates so we had to ask for them. To salvage the evening, we ordered apps at the same time as entrees because we were concerned we wouldn’t see the waitress enough to order again. Despite the 40 min wait to get the main courses and apps they didn’t even bring the right food and two of the steaks were not cooked right as requested. We never got one of our shareble sides and asked for their removal on the ticket. The steaks were bland, sides were undercooked, and they even gave the wrong dressing for the salads. The waitress assigned to our table even gave an attitude she “didn’t control what was going on in the kitchen”. We ended up pulling another manager aside in which she finally assigned us to a different waiter who was much better but still had to ask for ever single thing (i.e., the check, to go boxes, and refills). After a 2 hour extremely disappointing dinner service we were ready to get out of there and will never return. There aren’t enough “I’m sorry” or comps (bill was still over $150 for 3 people) in the world to every warrant my family and I returning to that establishment.

Side note: the atmosphere at the Keg is trash. There were several rowdy large parties of teenager that were constantly walking back and forth throughout the restraurant. They were loud and disruptive and were simply in the way so the wait staff had to walk around them. Not what you would expect for a place that is listed as...

Paris 7th is now our favorite high end restraunt . The food and servers are a lot top quality and you can go reservation only .

About the keg though We love the food and it was our favorite restaurant however I had to bring down the star rating due to our waitress being disrespectful. Her name was Janelle . It was our anniversary dinner and at first it was nice and going smooth but then she took forever .She offered to box up our food which was nice and then the bread she said she would bring a new loaf and box up what we had left and she never did !!! We asked for dissert to go several times and then she came back and argued saying we never said it was to go when we clearly said it more than once . We asked for carmal sauce and then she came back and asked why we were still here . We told her we were waiting on our carmal sauce she was supposed to get 15 minutes ago . She seemed to have taken too many tables on for tips but left us sitting there for hours . It disabled her form giving us 5 star service that we paid for .we were left there for hours when we had things we had to do !!! Not only that she charged someone else’s table to our ticket !!! We had to ask her to take it off bc we were not paying for someone else’s table. We usually tip $100 and was going to give her $40 but we had to reduce it to $20 bc she honestly didn’t diserve a tip with the way we were treated .then we get our statement and found out she changed the tip and forged my husbands signature which is illegal and we’ll be pressing charges ! she is lucky she got anything at all . I don’t feel bad for her bc she was arrogant . We paid $250 for 2 star service...

First time here and had SO many issues. Not coming back anymore. This was “supposed” to be a 4 star restaurant. When our waiter Gustavo took our order, he squats and leaned in. I thought he would stand next to us and take the order. I did not like that, nor feel comfortable. We ordered Iceberg Wedge and nobody ever brought us any utensils. Waitors just passed by and never offered help. We waited over 12 minutes to get someone’s attention to bring us silverware. He just said “my bad”. Our waiter came 5 more minutes after that with our food . My son ordered a burger with bacon and they didn’t include it. Our waiter never mentioned anything that they ran out of bacon until he came back from the kitchen. He brought back bacon bites, which he said was just as good 😡 This was unacceptable. Just say we are out, or we have bacon bits, if you would like that instead. His burger seemed and looked like a burger you’d get from Whataburger. The bun looked squashed with and his meat was also red. My son ate it because he was hungry (and 14 years old). My steak was supposedly “well done “ but had pink on the sides. I at this point decided to eat it. They were taking such long times to get the food and would’ve hated to have something worse instead or burnt. Steak didn’t have much flavor or juice as other steaks do. For $50, NOT worth it. Take my review and do as you will. Looked at other peoples pictures of their steak and they don’t look like mine did. Maybe we should’ve came during the day when the managers come by your table asking how your meal was. My sister did like her baked potato and her steak was ok from what she said. Hope your food is better!!

We visited to celebrate my birthday. The food was okay for an average steakhouse, but the service and atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The back part of the restaurant felt more like a cafeteria than a nice dining space. Our waitress (bright blonde hair) accidentally spilled water on my foot while serving us. I didn’t mention it at the time because I knew it wasn’t intentional, but it was definitely a strange start. We asked for the wine menu, and she said she would return to take our drink order. However, it took her about five minutes to come back, and when we ordered a bottle of wine (“BODEGAS LAN Crianza Tempranillo - Rioja, Spain”), it took another 15 minutes — during which she visited surrounding tables multiple times — before she told us they were completely out of it. At that point, we were frustrated and chose not to order anything else. Throughout our meal, she checked on us only twice. When we finished eating, she brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert or anything additional. I had hoped to order one of their chocolate martinis (a favorite of mine), but wasn’t given the opportunity, so I ended up stopping at their bar afterward to get one. When I was at the bar, I saw their wine selection and noticed several bottles of the wine she told us they were completely out of. Also worth noting: they don’t seem to do anything special for birthdays. Overall, it was a disappointing experience considering the occasion.
