Unitea Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Arlington

I am really disappointed. For quite some time I have been coming to this business after I drop off an order to a customer around the corner. I often look forward to ordering the gyoza and either a pechanga or some great drink with bubbles. Today, I noticed the gentleman was working with food or actually he was making a drink and then he came over to serve me and handed me money. I asked him if he was going to change his gloves because he was handling money and he took offense to that. He took one glove off and then he put the glove back on and went into the kitchen. I asked the lady if I could just cancel my order and have my money back. He took a fence to that and lied and said that he wasn't handling food when he in fact was. He also asked me to give him back the change that he gave me and he would give me back my money and for me to never come back there again! I will not return after service like that. And I've never had a problem with him in all this time that I've been coming. I guess I'll have to find another bubble tea place to patronize. this is one of my favorite bubble tea shops! i go to college near the area, so this is where i head off to study. my go-to drink is either a classic black milk tea (great milk & tea proportions) or mocha frappe (not too sweet or too bland) with boba. the boba texture is perfect for me and it’s sweetened with some kind of honey or sugar. i often get the sweet chili fried chicken to top off my drink and that too, is delicious. i’ve never tried their other drinks like the fruit teas, so i’ll definitely consider.

peak time starts around 12pm-1pm since high school students drop by here during their lunch break, so the line can sometimes be long and the shop gets crowded & loud. just keep this in mind if you’re running busy and want to be in and out quickly.

Dropped by since I happened to be in the area and wanted to try a boba place I wouldn’t find in mine. The drinks are good for their default sweetness, their prices are average (like every other boba shop nowadays) and their boba’s well-cooked and tastes great. Drinks were made and called out in a timely manner. Not disappointed at all and will be a place I return back to if I’m ever back in the area so I can try their food next time. Location is pretty ideal for studying or hanging out with friends and family. Across the street from a high school and close to UTA.
