Excellent every time! Never miss a chance to have their pork Chile Verde wet burrito. Chips are fresh, warm, and plentiful. I would eat here every day if I could. Tonight I had the #8 Combination with burrito, chicken taco, beans, and rice. SO good! The Verde sauce is almost addictive. Their weekday lunch specials are such a bargain. Forget bland drive through, go to La Costa Grill for the same price and WAY better food. I was the only diner in-house, however, I saw several to-go orders leave with happy customers. Anthony is the nicest guy and I can tell he and his family care if their customers are happy or not. They have a spacious patio. Pretty good free parking in a busy lot shared by the Arroyo Grande post office and Miner's Hardware.

WOW this place is so good!! We ordered to go quesabarrilla tacos (edit, barillia tacos on DoorDash aren’t the same as the quesa barillia we ordered in the restaurant so be aware of that) and I can’t even express how delicious they were. We’ve had them many places and they were hands down the best we’ve ever had. There was even rice at the bottom of the consume that we scooped up with chips and ate it that way. The restaurant has a really nice patio that we probably would have enjoyed if it wasn’t raining and it was very clean. They have a salsa bar with a lot of options as well. Best Mexican restaurant in town by far! We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.

I usually order the chicken flautas, but since it was Tuesday I wanted tacos and I was not disappointed. They also have their beer & wine license back, and an ice-cold Corona was perfect. On top of the great food, the owners are wonderful people—friendly, personable, and always make you feel welcome. Great food, great portions, and great people!

I can’t say enough for La Costa Grill. This tiny Mom and Pop Mexican restaurant has fantastic food at very affordable prices. The staff are extremely friendly (Nicole is amazing!) and very welcoming. Located right next door to the USPS, La Costa Grill offers the traditional Mexican dishes such as tacos, enchiladas, tamales, taquitos, fajitas, burritos and my favorite chili rellenos! They have a good sized outdoor patio in the back with lots of tables spaced apart for dining. The inside dining room is small and currently not open due to COVID restrictions. However with the perfect weather that Arroyo Grande has why not sit outside and enjoy!

I would highly recommend La Costa Grill for your Mexican food cravings and support this wonderful...
