Del Taco — Restaurant in Artesia

I went thru the drive thru with my 17 year old son and ordered two strawberry lemonades. The guy at the drive thru was very friendly and was super busy. When I handed him the money, I only had a 50 dollar bill, and wondered if he would be able to break it. When he returned, he handed me three $5 dollar bills and some change. As I counted it, I waved to him and told him, "I gave you a fifty. I handed back the $15 in $5 dollar bills and he said, "I'm sorry." He promptly gave me $45.00. Well...when I got home, I was looking for a credit card in my wallet and found a $50 dollar bill. Then I remembered that I had been given a $20 dollar bill that a friend owed me. So, I made a misake. The only problem is that I live about 25 -30 miles away. I owe this guy $30, and he may have to pay for this out of his paycheck. After trying to call the restaurant numerous times, I have not been able to get an answer. It just rings. No answering machine either. I will return this money tomorrow...

Went to Del Taco earlier than usual and got to see Mary again and she was so sweet, kind, welcoming, and working hard as always. She is so delightful and love to interact with her everytime I see her. Been going to Del Taco for years and years and one thing has not changed...Mary always being her gracious amazing self. She constantly asked how my mother is doing and that is what i appreciate most ❤️ Came across another employee Yolanda who Ive seen a couple of times. Very sweet, engaging, enthusiastic, and Hardworking as well everytime I see her. Love the atmosphere there. Food and service was great but the employees is what makes it the most enjoyable. I live across the street from this place and take my kids here after school... I don't like the day shift crew because this older Hispanic woman was always so edgy! After dropping my kids at school, I would go here before my class started...this particular elder woman around her 50s always had to give me an attitude on how much salsa packages I asked for. Like... woman! I bought a burrito, give me 10 packages of salsa cuz sometimes it's dry! Why say...oh no only 4 packages?! I immediately called headquarters and reported this...next day I came, I saw some changes! I'm not here to argue or fight... I need food and I'll be on my way...I'm a paying customer! The foods good, but sometimes dry! All I ask is for some...
