Original Thai Artesia — Restaurant in Artesia

I will never eat at this place ever again. I ordered Pad se Ew here with mango and sticky rice from Doordash. They decided to substitute my mango with sticky rice for Thai custard with sticky rice (looks like yellow slop - see photos) without calling and notifying me. I called the restaurant to tell them they should call and tell their customers if they do not have an item in stock (mango) and to not substitute the item in case they don't want it. The lady said I couldn't find your contact number and I said it is done online and through Doordash which has instructions and numbers on there. She preceeded to say well you can call Doordash in the middle of me telling her that for future customers she should inform them of any changes to their orders not just change the order. Then she goes thanks for your business and hangs up!

RUDE customer service! The food is not all that great and the way you treat your customers is unprofessional. I do not recommend anyone to do...

How can you go wrong with Thai food?

Original Thai Restaurant is a quaint & cozy restaurant located between fellow establishents, Hong Kong Express & Magic Wok. Seating( and space) is minimal, so it's more advantageous to order food to-go. The menu runs the gamut of Thai specialty dishes (MSG-free).

$6.50 ($7.25 with drink) Lunch Special now available all day, consisting of -

Rice, salad, egg roll & choice of chicken, beef, pork or tofu

Portions were not as much as I was expecting, but satisfactory.

All in all, I've found another food crush. Definitely come by and check it out...

Tasty food but terrible phone manners if you place your order by phone and if you happen to get serviced by Brandon! He is such an ass! So disrespectful, rude and condescending. No customer service skills! I told him to tone it down or I would be stopping by personally to speak with the owner and he brushed me off and said, So do you still want the order or not?! Trying to get me off the phone so I hung up on him and I won't be returning...
