No this place is BAD! I would not recommend going here, there are honestly so many other olaces in Artesia/Cerritos to spend your money on which are much cheaper or around the same range. All the 5 Star reviews here are trippin and have never really had good KBBQ. The whole thing about hidden fees is true, it supposedly said it would be at least $15-20 per person for an AYCE meal. However, picking your 3 meats from each meat combo, and tips add A LOT to your bill!
Expect to pay at least 26-30 if you ever go here. The meat quality was really low and unsanitary, there were mysterious red meat juices that came with EVERY round of meat. Which is hinestly just a bacteria breeding pool.
I understand that it is a frozen meat but I domt even think they use a freezer, the raw meat comes in lukewarm and the marinated ts have a BAD odor to them so i would just skip that altogether. The sides were just okay and service was wuick but everything there was just shady, dirty, and the meat was just questionable. It had texture but i felt REALLY nauseous after eating it. Like a lightheadedness after going there. Diesnt help the fact that all seafood is touching the meat too. gross.
I highly recommed that you take your money elsewhere. Possibly higher end to places and reserve a dinner spot at gen bbq or try your hand at a Mid quality KBBQ spot anywhere else. (Red palace cerritos, the one in...
Read moreWhy does this place have 4.2 stars??? Being the only customers there during dinner time for 1.5hr should've been a sign. This is the first time I ever gave a 1 star review, and it was the worst AYCE KBBQ ever, and I'm not picky. The meat looked and tasted old. The steamed egg had that weird unfiltered tap water flavor, and it was way too salty. The kimchi and pickled cucumbers tasted sour like it's going bad (and I love sour kimchi/pickled veggies), but this sour was like the food has been sitting in room temp for hours. The japchae (glass noodles) were all stuck together (probably old too). The bean sprouts tasted like they were marinated in salt water. The first corn cheese was pretty good, the second almost looked like it was just cheese sitting on top of barely cooked corn. After we ordered, a second waitress yelled across the room in Korean to our first waitress "did they order anything else besides brisket?". Then after my husband talked to her in Korean, she said "oh you speak Korean" then walked away and never came back, like she was embarrassed she made a comment he understood. Everything looks so outdated. The premium isn't even worth it since they don't have the popular...
Read moreThis restaurant used to be so good at customer service in the 8 years we have been going which they left a good impression.
Went into the restaurant and got seated immediately. We ordered from the same person who seated us (we being 2 people in one booth) and quickly received all the sides, then the two orders of meat and rice.
Wanting a refill of the potato salad and rice paper, ordering new meat, or asking for soup, our server hadn't returned the whole time and we made sure the meat and rice lasted us. We even wanted to go for menu B to get the other items.
But to NO availability of anyone who works here, we just paid and left.
Also, be aware of the charges, as we were overcharged on the bill, and then charged more when they ran ny credit card. We received two letter A meals for 19.99 each, and two rices at one dollar each which should total 41.98, even with tax at 9% it ends up at 45 which that's what it said on the order ticket, then my credit card processing receipt now says 45.99. They just raised it higher for what reason?!
I put NO TIP!!! Take better care of your customers no matter the capacity of party, and worse of all don't defraud...
