I pulled up to this Kentucky fried chicken this evening on August 5 to get some food for takeout. Their systems were down when I arrived and they said they could only take cash only I was only needing three side dishes, large mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw and macaroni and cheese. I had $17 in cash on me at the time and that was all my total came to $17.76. I told them I only had $17 and they told me too bad if I didn’t have the $.76 they could not give me the extra side dish. The manager was a female and she was extremely rude and yelled at me when I said are you serious? Can you just offer the discount since this isn’t an inconvenience and it’s your systems that are down and she yelled at me and said no and I said you would rather lose a sale than $.76 and she said Yep this is the customer service and the people that work there are extremely rude and the management is horrible.
Management yelled at me in front of my six-year-old daughter, even though I had never raised my voice at her.
I have worked in customer service all my life and I would never treat a customer like this also during a sale if my systems were down or it was an error on my behalf, I would accept a discount and that would be what would happen because it is our inconvenience not their inconvenience And any bit of a sale is better than no sale at all.
I will never go back to that Kentucky fried chicken and support that business owner ever again because of how rude and disrespectful they were in front of my six-year-old child.
The gentleman behind me offered me a dollar so I could get the three side dishes to go with our dinner that night. The kindness of strangers and not business owners is absolutely disgusting.

Read moreFirst things first, we close at 10pm. Ok so I work here and yes, they do mess around sometimes. Usually when it's slow. I think we are getting better but I am still unsure, I am a cook here and I make the fried chicken. When it comes out of the fryer (which takes 20 minutes to cook it btw) it's fresh for two hours, then its stale but meh. I understand if you have meh chicken past 7 pm, as I filter my fryers then and cannot cook any more chicken. I try to work as quickly as possible, but sometimes we just run out of ready food you know? I'm still new so that's probably it. I can't make too much otherwise my coworkers get angry as they have to debone it (no waste). It's always a gamble. Also stop ordering 16 piece grilled chicken, we only have 8 pieces on us at a time (cause no one ever takes it, it ends up stale by the end of the day). The only that really stays fresh for any length of time is nothing. And we are all too lazy to cook more food when it's 9 pm because then we have to wash our dishes again and most of us work from 9 am to 10pm (worse than your 9-5, as we do have to deal with angry customers and stand practically the whole time. But it's not really mentally challenging.) I work here cause I'm 16, so don't blame me for anything. I usually work Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sat from 4-8pm....
Read moreOrdered a meal through the KFC app to pick up at 1130pm at 9pm. Told my wife I would make an order and pick it up on my way home after work. Got off at 11pm drove over and was told they can not make my order since they don't make kfc pay 11pm... I then asked if they could cancel my order so I could go get food elsewhere and was told to cancel it through app. The app only had a chatbot which when asked to cancel the order it mentions to attempt canceling from the app or website, which both did the same thing. Told me to cancel the order on the app/website. I tried calling them begging to just cancel the order or give me my money so that I could go get food elsewhere and was told there was nothing he could do. I asked if I could talk to a store manager or the franchise owner and was told there was no way for him to return the money I spent trying to get food at their establishment. This is highly infuriating as we typically like stopping here to enjoy a bit of both kfc and taco bell. It's the end of the night I have no food for my family and I am out $60.
