Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Arvada

WORST customer service EVER. I have had two really bad experiences:

1. Went there after an 11 hour day of work and just wanted something quick. Quick it was NOT. I paid upfront through the drive-thru window. There were three or four girls "working". One took my money, then proceeded to ignore me, talk to each other and mess around for the 30-40 minute wait. There were two other cars behind me and both left before my food came out. The only reason I didn't drive off is because I had already paid. When the girl finally gave me my food, there was not explanation or an apology. I told her the problem and with a shrug there was nothing. I don't think I have every been so angry at a fast food place before.

2. Tonight was the second time and went inside. The girl scolded me when I didn't know the meal #. Long wait and they got the order wrong in several ways. Young staff didn't seem to care about much.

I truly hope the franchise owner reads this and understands how bad this "restaurant" sucks because of their lack of hiring / training a qualified staff. Even though Popeyes is well known - it's probably not a good idea to piss off the locals, which I am one.

I will never recommend, nor will I go back.

The only reason for the only star selected is because I am forced to by Google and... I really do...

PLEASE DON'T EAT HERE! My family has gotten sick (entire family) twice within the last 2 months. The first time it happened we just assumed we had not eaten Popeyes for a while, so maybe we just didn't recognize the new recipe for the Red Beans and rice. However, within minutes of eating, my children vomited and my spouse and I were all sick for 3 days! We tried again last week and this time ordered the Cajun Rice as sides. Because we have not ate pork in years we assumed that maybe the meat in the cajun rice was pork so the smell threw us off a little bit. Oh were we wrong! Again, my child vomited immediately after eating the cajun rice and we were all sick for several days. Fortunately we took pictures of all the items. The chicken was either extremely overcooked or old. Our dog would not even eat the chicken! The management at this location will NOT return calls, and even after contacting corporate, the management has lied about "leaving a voicemail". My assumption is that food is being left out too long under the lights/heating and they are selling it regardless of quality. PLEASE BE CAREFUL OR GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION! This could be deadly/harmful, not to mention times are too hard for people to waste money food...

I am a secret shopper.

I have never been to this location so I figured why not?? BIG MISTAKE!! Upon arrival there was a young mexican man that could not get my order right. I asked for no drinks because my son (who is a child by the way and he is got to be picky) .zand I already had them. He asked is Manger for help and she got upset, Then told us that we could only get one diping sauce when normally you can get two since I ordered two meals. I didn't take offense her rudeness until I seen her be very nice to a WHITE MAN . He walked in and had a big order. She filled his order quickly and gave him as many sauces as he wanted, the rest of the staff even gave him a hand with his bags. It was 1st class service all the way for him.

Food:I am going to go through each of the items i ordered and give it a 1 to a 10. Classic lag,wing and thigh was a 6 was cooked, crisp but lacked flavor.

Biscuits was a 10 ...no one can mess up Popeyes Biscuits thank goodness

Cajun Fries was a 10...I was very surprised

Popcorn shrimp was a 7 was not spicy enough and not crisp enough.

Red beans and rice was a 0 lacked any spice or taste it was awful.

The Dining room tables were not clean.
