Just wasted 20 min of my time. This is the fourth time in a row I have been to this sonic and left dissapointed but today by far was the worst. Corporate or the franchise owner needs to do something about this location and the fact that there are so many bad reviews here and nothing has been done, it really speaks volumes about how your feel about your establishment.
Not only did I wait in drive through at the speaker for 10 min before they were prepared for my order, i had to order it twice at the speaker with two different people, they offered to discount my order 50% for the long wait and inconvenience. I drive up to the window (there were no cars in front of me in the line by the time they let me order) and I hand the woman my credit card. She proceeds to put it down and make all (3) of our drinks, then three more. Still hasn't swiped my card. 5 minutes my card is left unattended on the shelf. I ask for it back and tell them it's making me uncomfortable and they are so behind they still have not charged me, yet give me my card back. She asks if I had ordered TWO of every that I ordered, I say no this is wrong and i repeat my order a third time to what I am assuming is the manager. She apologized for the chaos and the window shuts and she proceeds to start screaming at her staff (dropping f bombs and other foul language) saying they can all be replaced and she doesn't care if they are unhappy. At this point I am so uncomfortable I don't want my food. I still wait for another 5 minutes during this and they open the window and say "here is your chicken sandwich", which I didn't order anything containing chicken. Finally at this point i drive away. Did I mention my two kids are in they car waiting, hungry, and listening to the manager scream and swear? Ridiculous.
The time before this I went at 1030pm on a Saturday and they already closed even though they are supposed to be open until midnight.
Time previous to that I went to a kiosk and waited 10 min after pressing the button before I drove to the drive thru because no one answered. The drive-thru, for whatever reason was blocked off by a handwritten sign and trashcan.
Time before this my order was completely wrong and i didn't realize until I drove away.

Read moreWe waited fifteen minutes before even being asked for our order! A representative said that they were understaffed. If so, the proper way to handle that is to have whoever is managing (i.e. team leader, manager, etc.) to come out and explain the situation. However, there seem to be at least six or seven employees inside the building, some just walking around. If those are actually doing something, they should remain in one location in order to complete their tasks. Also, the drive-thru seems to get much higher priority for service, since cars which entered the drive-thru AFTER we originally pressed our stall's red button were serviced long before we were.
We come to Sonic because of the good variety, but at least THIS location ALWAYS (NOT an exaggeration!) seems to be understaffed. If that is truly a consistent issue at this location, then serious work needs to be taken to change the working environment to retain quality employees and/or obtain much better onsite management. Really, why would an employee want to work here?
This Sonic location is a SERIOUS DISAPPOINTMENT!! The term QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), more commonly referred to as Fast Food does, NOT apply here at all!
After thirty minutes (30 MINUTES!!!), a young lady came out to confirm what our order was. THIRTY MINUTES!!!! Just to confirm what our order was!! And then, .....
Our order came 40 (FORTY!!!!!!) minutes after we were finally able to place our order. And guess what? After all that time, and someone "confirming" our order, our order was NOT correct. One of our sides was incorrect & one of our drinks was incorrect.
At least our order was comped. That worked for our pocketbook, but certainly is not good for the location's bottom line.

Read moreI usually have good service at this Sonic. Yes, sometimes there is a wait to get my order but that's expected at any fast food place and the employees are usually apologetic. However, today I was in the drive thru and the girl taking my order was speaking so low that I could hardly hear her. I also couldn't see the screen due to the sun hitting it. I assumed the order was correct as I had only ordered 3 items. After placing my order I waited behind a car in front of me. They seemed to be having an issue with their order. At one point I saw the individual remove the lid off of his drink and said it had no ice cream. The drink was taken and he was handed one back. Well I pull up to get my order and pay. She told me my total but again I couldn't really hear and just handed her my card. She handed me one drink and my card and receipt then gave me my second item and closed the window. I waited a few seconds assuming I would get my third item but I didn't. Read my receipt and there were only two items. I waited for her to open the window again and let her know I actually asked for another drink. She seemed irritated, rolled her eyes at me, and turned around to make my drink. I had pulled out my card thinking I'd have to pay but she handed me the drink without saying a word so I took it and drove off. After I was out of the parking lot we realized the drinks which should've been the same looked quite different. I pulled over to pop the lids off and noticed the first drink I was handed was indeed a different flavor but also looked as if a straw had already been through the Iid.
