Best Mexican food restaurant in Asheboro! This is my personal opinion of Burrito Brothers, and I have tried them all. The service is always right on time and polite, but not over bearing. Wouldn’t call the man who prepares the food here a cook. He deserves the title of Chef. I haven’t handed that title out in a very long time, but he takes pride in the food he serves. I usually go to Burrito Brothers between lunch and dinner time, around 2:00-3:00 PM, so I am not sure who he is. But when asked to make my Mexican tacos with fajita steak and charge me extra, those were the best tacos I’ve ever put in my mouth! They were arranged beautifully on my plate, the limes served separately in a small bowl. My companion had the XL Burrito with cheese sauce, which I was surprised to see him finish! He said it was so good he couldn’t stop himself lol. I DID stop myself after two tacos, and took the other two home for that night. Sure, I paid a little extra for the champagne of steak. But it was well worth it, and really had two meals from one plate. So it was a bargain as delicious as it was. Prices here seem fair to me anyway. Compliments...
Read moreBurrito Brothers always provides great service and great food. I've never been disappointed. The chips and salsa are fresh, made right in the kitchen and usually very warm when served.
Two ways to go here, in my opinion: Order of of each taco available. You might get a strange look, but trust me - it's tremendous. You'll experience a trove of flavors and all well put together. I avoid the chiccarones, mainly because I am not a fan of the texture. At under $1.50 each, you can have ten tacos for the price of an entree.
The Giant Burrito of the House. Gargantuan! Have someone to share with or go with a larger than life appetite. Stuffed with seasoned beef, chicken, chorizo, rice, cheese, avocados, and more you will get more than your money's worth.
Finish with the horchata - a can't miss sweet rice dessert drink.
Last step, wobble out...

Cons: Last time we went they asked if we wanted red sauce and cheese on our burritos so we said yes. Then went and charged us for "suizo style" $ additionally. We tried to fight it but our waitress lied to the checkout girl in Spanish and said she had asked us if we wanted it suizo style and we'd said yes. Didn't say anything about it being extra. Then when we revealed we spoke Spanish and caught them in a lie they got all angry and refused to take it off. C'mon now, is that how you get happy customers? For an extra $3 they lost us from ever coming back and we didn't leave a tip for the waitress since it was her lying about what we'd ordered. Stupid people running a bad business... If you go, be sure of what you're ordering or they'll charge you extra and say...
