Panaderia Pasteleria Enciso — Restaurant in Asheboro

I genuinely liked coming here all the time. Through the years I have been coming here less because they are more expensive than everywhere else and the bread is always hard when I go in here. Not only that but when I come in here the older ladies always give you a stink eye instead of saying hi how are you or just smile if you don't want to speak. The only time I have felt welcome in this store is when a young girl works and she is genuinely nice 👍🙂! I get that I look "white" for my skin color but I'm Mexican and there's no need in the community to just be rude. Not to mention last time I came in 2 weeks ago they were cleaning everything down - thumbs up for that - but the lady that was cleaning everything down with what smelled of bleach had gloves on and literally served my bread in the bags with the same gloves. I didn't say anything because she barely wanted to ring me up, speak with me, and gave me stink eyes. I told myself I just won't be coming back. Enciso is my family's go-to location for our baked goods. The pastries are delicious and always fresh, with a very wide variety to choose from.

We have a list of 4-5 items that we get regularly, but our favorite item is the tres leches, so much so that we had our 3-tier wedding cake made out of it, 1 with strawberry, 1 dolce, and 1 pineapple. We were given many options of additional flavors and decoration, and what we chose came out PERFECTLY. So many compliments from our guests.

There are certain days during each week when certain items are available, and it's always worth the wait. Definitely try stopping by on a Sunday. 😉👌

Definitely the best bakery on the block. Bread is always fresh and soft. It’s very affordable. We got two full trays of bread for less then $20 I would have spend way more then that if I would have gone to different place. They so much to choose from.
