A place familiar to the mind
While walking through downtown Asheboro and trying to find something to do, I was reminded of the place I'd yet to try.
Leo's whiskey bar
When you first get to the location, you're greeted by a screen door that truly reminded me of days at my grandmother's/grandfather's.
Walking in is an environment that seems small however the character and familiarity is astounding. From a wood slat ceiling, to a beautiful corner seat, and the smooth warm bar top, this Whiskey bar had plenty to offer the everyday person.
There is a $1 charge to become a member due to them not serving food.
I do wish to come back with several friends and mingle with the rest of the crowd here. No one has a negative attitude and you truly feel a part of the niche community that resides behind the screen door.
