Waffle House — Restaurant in Asheboro

I called and placed an order. The food was great, however I did not give it 5 stars bc I asked if all condiments were in the bag and they reassured me everything was in there. I had an all star and my friend got a burger with double hashbrowns. When I got back there was 2 syrups, 2 packs of ketchup, one pack of mayonnaise and 2 silverware packs. I currently work in a restaurant myself, been in restaurant/customer service for 20 years. There were 3 orders of hashbrowns. There should have been at least 2-3 packs per hashbrown order. Also, there was NO butter for our waffles! Guess it's a good thing we are in a hotel and just visiting. My hotel accommodated the extra butter, ketchup and syrup, however my point is that I shouldn't of had to go to that length when it was supposed to be in the bag! Before you go, "well why didn't you look in the bad before you left?!" When I asked if everything was in there the manager slightly opened the side of the bag to show me there was some in there. I’ve been coming to this location for many years and it used to be my go to place to eat. Never had any issues until one of the older waitresses that works in the evenings/night was rude and disrespectful. She was the rudest person I have ever met , as soon we walked in , she gave us a bad look and we just brushed it off because we are nice people. The way she took our order sounded like she didn’t even want to serve us. After getting the food she went on to insult us and tell us that she didn’t expect a tip from us but she was still gonna serve us our food. We were so confused and shocked because we always tip at least 25%. I used to work in a restaurant many years ago so I understand the importance of tipping. I will never be returning to this place i don’t understand how they can hire people like this, I’m paying for my food and the service and I should not be treated like this . Only booth available when we walked in still had previous customers food and tip on it. Waited a good 5 mins for the waitress to come clean it. It was not busy enough for us to be waiting that long. She did not smile or say hello. No eye contact or anything. She brought our drinks but no straws. We both ordered country ham, eggs, hash browns and toast. She first brought the ham, which was so huge it was hanging off the plate and touching the table. It looked questionable as to whether it was fresh. By the time they brought the rest, the ham was already cold. And my tea was in need of a refill, which I had to ask for.
