I stopped here for lunch while in the area on assignment. The food was very good, although there seemed to be more spicy items than not. (I'm not a spicy foods fan.) Despite that, there were plenty of non- spicy items to fill me up. I was there during lunch hours, so I'm not sure if the dinner offerings are any different.
The cream cheese wonton was especially delicious. This is a small establishment, so there were two hot bars and a salad/cold bar. You do have to ask for the ice cream. What they brought out, not much more than a big tablespoonful, was what I considered a VERY small portion. Literally 2 bites. The buffet price was reasonable considering the increase in overall prices.
The service was good. The server kept my tea glass full and checked on me from time to time. She took away the dirty plates quickly.
COVID-19 procedures: Masks are worn by staff and expected when you enter (I'm not sure about at the food bars). Social distancing measures were in place. Gloves and hand sanitizer are provided and customers were required to use gloves when serving themselves at the food bars. The staff cleaned tables right away after customers left, and it looked to me like they were following suggested guidelines.
I would eat here again next time I travel...
Read moreVery clean, well kept establishment & the older of the two ladies working was extremely pleasant. I wish she had been our server!!!!! The younger girl was very curt in her demeanor. There was a nice, somewhat large variety of foods on the buffet. However, out of what I had, only 3 of the items were particularly good enough to actually finish, but 2 others are worth mentioning as my issues with them are personal preferences rather than taste. The Thai Chicken Sticks were absolutely yummy & they had a Garlic Chicken that was wonderful, finally my favorite was the Banana Pudding on the dessert bar. The Crab Rangoons had a delicious flavor but the breading was to_o thick & crunchy for my taste & the Spring Rolls also had a good flavor but they were excessively greasy. The friends I had with me was also pleased with the Thai Chicken Stick But that was the extent of it for him. Overall for roughly $41.00 for lunch price ($11.95 per person for each of 2 adults & $5.95 for a 3 year old & the cost of drinks), we did not get our money's worth at all as we could barely finish what we put on our 1st plates & don't believe in wasting food so we did not go back to try...
Read moreFirst time customer from out of town. I came here for lunch after visiting The Billy Graham Training Center (The Cove). The Tom Yum soup was my favorite!! It tasted delicious! I really enjoyed their Singapore Mei Fun noodles with vegetables, and a vegetable egg roll. This buffet had plenty of vegetarian choices to pick from (you may have to pick out the vegetable portion you want out of a meat dish. For example: I ate the veggies from the Tom Yum soup, but did not select the chicken within the soup). This buffet also had dessert options. I enjoyed their banana pudding and jello. The customer service was friendly. The price of my meal was great! It was an inexpensive price for good quality food that tasted delicious. If I am ever here again on vacation I would enjoy coming here again. If this restaurant was in my hometown (in FL), I would eat here on a weekly basis! I had a great experience. There is no buffet restaurant like this where I come from that serves at this price with this type of yummy...
