When this restaurant is very busy they don't treat large parties well at all! I came in with my family and was given a 45 minute wait and we waited for 2 hours and 15 min then was refused service. We asked for a manager and the 3 servers we were talking with said that there was no manager on duty to speak with. Waitresses started cussing at us. I had a conversation with 2 gentlemen about the lack of communication while being on the wait which raised the frustration. There was literally nobody remaining in the restaurant that came in at the same time as we did. So that is when my mother decided to raise concerns to the bartender and was told that no server wants to serve us so maybe we should go cause they didn’t know what to do for us. I did not agree with the disrespect and lack of professionalism. We were made the problem when we did everything on our part to ensure we were communicating and were not doing anything wrong. I stood and talked with 2 gentlemen before leaving and they mentioned us coming to the bar as the problem. Prior to going to the bar i asked a man and woman if it was okay to sit at the bar to have a drink while on the wait. They both said it was okay. The bartender told us there was no bartender and she could do what she could so we replied “absolutely take your time we are very patient and understand yall are busy” that was spoken by 3 people that joined me at the bar to have a drink while we waited. I have served and I have hosted .. I never lose my temper but that is the most disrespect I have ever received from any restaurant! We were very patient until that hour and a half mark hit and we kept seeing people get sat around us. When first asked they said we would be sitting in a area but never was specific to a table which was fine then the second time they were table specific to a table that walked in at the same time as me. I just wish that was said to me when it was decided because that is going to be extending the wait longer than 45 minutes since this table did get sat the same time we arrived. Maybe they could have tried to offer us the option to seat us at separate tables in the same area. I should have know when she said she wasn’t taking a name or a phone number for a spot on the wait list she said she would remember my face. I don’t understand why no one was communicating with us but they were obviously communicating behind our back because they had alot to say about what their employees were saying once everything was said and done. I will never return and i wish i was given a corporate number to call because that was the most ridiculous interaction ever. As a business that’s main goal is customer satisfaction they should know how to communicate better. I apologized for things ending how they did but i didn’t appreciate the...
Read moreI came here to simply purchase a half pound of shrimp with head on and with there special sauce mild, the lady that was taking my order refused at first to make a half pound and tried to make me purchase 1 pound instead, she said that for to go orders they don't make less than 1 pound eventhough any other crab de jour in any other city never has such rules, then she decided to help me out and let me buy the half pound since I was refusing to purchase 1 pound of shrimp. When I got there they were head off shrimp so all I asked for was for them to remake them with head ON shrimp. I wish I remembered the lady's name because her attitude is not for the job that she does. She started going off on me and called the manager and created a unneeded scene because it was her fault that she did not hear me over the phone clearly and didn't want to admit her mistake and tried to put it allon me, she even started saying stuff like I would need to pay a couple dollars extra for the head on shrimp eventhough they are cheaper because it's less work for them. She basically tried to scam me and put the money in her pocket and when I didn't agree to that she went off on me and all the customers in the restaurant were staring at us, really awkward situation i was in because of her. But once manager came he agreed to remake them for same price but also had a wiered expression on his face like it was all my fault that they didnt get my order right. When they remade them and I went home to eat they were way overdone and were more like mashed potato's. So please take my word and stay away from these people. They first need to learn to act and speak like professionals and stop blaming customers for...
Read moreFood was great! Service was HORRIBLE! First, had to wait for hostess to get off her phone before acknowledging us. (Like we were bothering her). Then server (female, long blonde hair) took order, brought drinks/food. NEVER came back to ask us how food was or even refill drinks, even though we had our empty drinks sitting at the edge of the table. She walked by us and was at the two tables around us many times but never stopped. Then we kept seeing her gather with all of the other servers to sit at the bar. I've never seen employees allowed to sit and hang out at the bar WHILE THEY HAVE TABLES. We were so disappointed we almost left and just put money on table to cover our food. Finally she showed back up after we had waited a good 10 minutes for our check. (She had been learning about making drinks at the bar from one of the other servers) and asked if we needed any refills. I told her we had wanted refills earlier and it was too late. Worst service ever. If I was the manager I would've fired the hostess and 2-3 servers that night. There were a few hard working servers and a few very slack servers (kept gathering at the bar like they had nothing to do). More training is needed and also a dress code of some sort. Sweats, hoodies, leggings and belly shirts are not really ok for work, maybe Walmart shopping but not for work. Kudos to the cooks because the food was great! The service ruined the whole experience. Oh and as we were leaving the hostess again, didn't even look up at us until I said "good night". Needs better trained staff. Left the lowest tip I have ever left in my life, and I...
