Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in Asheville

We were in the mall and wanted to get our usual snack. We ordered some of the mini dogs. We were told it takes 15 minutes to make because they are only made from the left over dough. We walked around and returned 15 minutes later. After waiting in line we were told, it takes 15 minutes to make them. At this point no one was making dough; therefore the plausibility of we only make them from left over dough is completely shot. My spouse said under his breathe, “we have waited 15 minutes already.” That is when the young lady working behind the counter began to yell out that “we sell a lot of them. You could be here when they are ready.” Ok, let’s be completely up front, first of all- if you are in customer service, don’t give a lie to try and defend your prep practices. Just be up front- we can’t keep them is stock. Furthermore, do not yell at your customers; you look foolish and petty. Everyone in that section of the mall looked at you. We have been to this location a handful of times. Unfortunately , the first time we went, they had no pretzels up and ready or anything, and they still had about 35 minutes to close. We asked if they were making anymore and the two young girls that were working said no they were done for the day. We have gone a few times since, and have not had that problem, and were glad everything was fresh, more employees on board, and friendly. Needing desperately to find affordable masks I ventured to the mall to go to Old Navy. Like every time I go to the mall, Auntie Anne's called to me. As I was waiting in the line, I noticed both employees were not wearing their masks properly. I should have gone with my gut and walked away then because the pretzel I was served was rock hard.
